• Tyler Alexander punches out seven in win vs. CWS
Tyler Alexander allowed two earned runs and struck out seven batters in four innings of work against the White Sox on Monday.

Advice: Alexander set a season-high in strikeouts on Monday and has looked good over his past five starts following a rough start to the season. The only runs off Alexander came from a two-run home run from Tommy Pham. Other than that, the 29-year-old was in control and now holds a 4.96 ERA, 1.38 WHIP with a 30/10 K/BB ratio across 32 2/3 innings. Fantasy managers that have Alexander should be satisfied with this result as he gets ready to take on the Yankees this weekend. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago

  • Mike Clevinger allows four runs in two innings against Rays
Mike Clevinger allowed six hits, three earned runs with zero strikeouts in two innings against the Rays on Monday.

Advice: It was a brutal debut for Clevinger who couldn’t make it past the second inning. Most of the damage came in the second frame when Clevinger allowed two singles, a double and a walk that resulted in three Tampa Bay runs. There’s a chance he’s brought back down to the minors after tonight’s start and shouldn’t be on fantasy managers radars this season. Rotoworld 14 minutes ago
  • Converts second save
Stratton allowed two walks in a scoreless inning and earned a save over the Brewers on Monday.

Advice: Stratton forced a double play after the first walk, so he didn't face a very threatening push from Milwaukee. It was his second save of the year and first since April 6. He blew his last opportunity when he was slammed for five runs against Detroit on April 27. Stratton is sporting a 5.40 ERA with a shaky 12:12 K:BB through 15 frames. Rotowire.com 15 minutes ago
  • No win in scoreless outing
Wilson allowed a hit and three walks over six shutout frames in a no-decision Monday. He struck out six while the Brewers lost to Kansas City.

Advice: Wilson was in line for a win before the Royals plated three runs in the seventh inning right after he left the contest. The lone hit he gave up was a single and Kansas City never posed much of a threat during his outing. He also generated a season-high 11 whiffs. Wilson dropped his ERA to 2.40 with a 27:10 K:BB through 30 innings. As things stand, he currently projects for a home matchup with St. Louis this weekend. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

  • Punches out five in loss
Anderson (2-4) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks over 6.1 innings against Pittsburgh. He struck out five.

Advice: Anderson allowed all four runs Monday night on one swing -- a 424-foot grand slam by Edward Olivares in the third inning. Although the Angels southpaw sports a 2.74 ERA in 42.2 innings, tougher times may lie ahead, as he has been aided greatly by a .205 BABIP. Anderson is slated to make his next start against the Royals at home. Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

  • Goes the distance in victory
Keller (3-3) allowed one run, five hits and one walk in a complete game victory Monday against the Angels. He struck out five.

Advice: Keller stymied the Angels on Monday night en route to his second career complete game -- his first was a shutout May 8, 2023 against Colorado. The Pirates right-hander induced a whopping 64.0 percent groundball-rate, easily his highest in a start this season, outpacing the 37.5 percent rate he generated on the season prior to Monday. Keller is scheduled to make his next start against the Cubs at home this weekend. Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

  • Punches out eight
Ragans allowed two runs on two hits and two walks over six innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out eight during the win over Milwaukee.

Advice: The lone blemish on Ragans' line Monday was a two-run shot by Gary Sanchez in the fourth inning. After the long ball, Ragans retired the final seven batters he faced, with three coming via strikeout. He matched his season high by forcing 19 whiffs, with nine coming against his changeup. Since getting hammered for seven runs against the Orioles, Ragans has posted a strong 2.04 ERA and 21:8 K:BB over his last three starts. The 26-year-old will carry a 3.38 ERA into his next outing, which is lined up to be a road matchup with the Angels this weekend. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

  • Caleb Thielbar locks down save against Mariners
Caleb Thielbar picked up a save with a scoreless inning Monday against the Mariners.

Advice: The Twins used Jhoan Duran in the eighth inning — he struck out two in a scoreless inning to keep his ERA at 0.00 — and Thielbar was able to pick up a pair of punchouts himself while procuring the third save of the season. His 6.14 ERA isn’t indicative of how well he’s pitched in 2024. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago
  • Luis Castillo pitches well, but picks up loss to Twins
Luis Castillo gave up three runs — two earned — over 6 2/3 innings in a loss Monday to the Twins.

Advice: Castillo allowed just an unearned run over the first six, but two more crossed the plate in the seventh. The right-hander struck out seven against three walks, and it was another solid outing for the 31-year-old right-hander. Castillo has a very friendly match-up coming over the weekend against the Athletics. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago
