    • Homers in loss
Burger went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday' 8-3 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Burger hit a solo home run in the fifth inning and added a single in the ninth. The 28-year-old hit .213 in both May and June but does have two multi-hit efforts and two home runs in his past five games. On the season, he is hitting .221 with eight home runs, 28 RBI and 25 runs scored through 259 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 8:41 pm

    • Allows five earned runs in loss
Keller (9-5) took the loss against the Cardinals on Tuesday, allowing six runs (five earned) on nine hits and no walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Advice: Keller was burned by the long ball, surrendering a two-run home run in the second inning and a grand slam in the fourth. After completing at least six frames in eight consecutive starts from May 6 to June 19, the righty has now failed to do so in his past two outings. The 28-year-old will bring a solid 3.48 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 96:27 K:BB over 103.1 innings into a projected home matchup with the Mets this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 8:08 pm
    • Doval picks up 15th save in win over Braves
Camilo Doval pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out two in Tuesday’s win over the Braves.

Advice: Doval now has 14 saves on the season and has allowed just one run since his four-run implosion against the Angels back in mid-June. The veteran closer continues to be a reliable closer out of the bullpen, and he has hopefully put a tough June behind him. Rotoworld Today, 7:29 pm
    • Mitch Keller undone by home runs in loss
Mitch Keller allowed six runs (five earned) on nine hits in five innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: Keller allowed eight hard-hit baseballs, including two home runs that accounted for five of the runs Keller allowed. He struck out five and walked nobody on the day, posting a 24 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW. Even though Keller has been performing better of late, there’s not much in the underlying numbers that suggests he’s become a different pitcher. He relies heavily on his cutter for success, and while that pitch was good tonight, the rest of his offerings didn’t miss a ton of bats. Keller is a risky stream this weekend against a red-hot Mets offense. Rotoworld Today, 6:40 pm
    • Jake Burger tallies two hits, homers in losing effort
Jake Burger went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Tuesday in the Marlins’ loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Burger was one of the few bright spots in this one as his fifth-inning solo shot off Red Sox starter Kutter Crawford was one of just three hits for Miami through six innings. The 28-year-old slugger has homered twice in his last five games and is now up to eight big flies on the season. Rotoworld Today, 6:15 pm

    • Evan Carter (back) progressing towards return
Evan Carter (back) is expected to progress to facing live pitching again this week.

Advice: Carter resumes swinging a bat earlier this week and should be ready to face some actual live pitching in the coming days. The 21-year-old former top prospect landed on the injured list back in early June with a stress reaction in his back and was expected to miss at least one month. He’s going to need a minor league rehab assignment to get back up to speed, but it sounds like he could be back before the end of July, barring any setbacks. Rotoworld Today, 5:38 pm

    • Remaining out Tuesday
Garver (wrist) isn't in the Mariners' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Garver will get an extra day to recover Tuesday after getting hit in the wrist by a pitch during Sunday's loss to Minnesota. His absence will allow Mitch Haniger to serve as Seattle's designated hitter while batting eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 2:24 pm
    • Mitch Garver out Tuesday with wrist contusion
Mitch Garver (wrist) is absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Orioles.

Advice: Garver will take a seat for Tuesday’s series opener after suffering a right wrist contusion when he was hit by a pitch during Sunday’s game against the Twins. He’s day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 2:20 pm
    • Jose Altuve back in Tuesday’s lineup vs. Blue Jays
Jose Altuve is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Altuve received a rare day off during Monday’s series opener following a sizzling-hot June where he batted .333 (34-for-102) with four homers and five steals over 25 contests. Rotoworld Today, 1:29 pm
