• Shut down at Triple-A
Triple-A Charlotte placed Shewmake on its 7-day injured list Sunday due to an unspecified injury.

Advice: After receiving limited playing time with the White Sox, Shewmake was optioned to Charlotte on May 17 and had settled into an everyday role with the Triple-A club. However, he went just 4-for-33 (.121 average) at the dish over nine games with Charlotte before suffering an apparent injury Saturday and landing on the IL a day later. Rotowire.com 22 minutes ago

  • Homers, triples in losing effort
Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, triple, two RBI and a walk Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: Devers third-inning triple plated a run while his solo blast in the eighth knotted the game at four and set the stage for extra innings. It was the second triple and 11th homer of the season for Devers, who entered the game in a mini 1-for-10 slump since accumulating four hits against the Orioles on Tuesday. It was also the first dinger for Devers since hitting homers in six-consecutive games from May 15-20. Rotowire.com 40 minutes ago

  • Homers, reaches base five times
Henderson went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored while walking twice Sunday against the Rays.

Advice: Henderson led off the bottom of the first with his 19th homer of the year to provide the Orioles with the early advantage. He went on to reach base in all five at-bats, with the three-hit performance representing his fourth such effort of the season and first since April 24. Through 251 plate appearances over 57 games, Henderson is slashing .268/.368/.591 with 19 homers, 42 RBI, 44 runs and eight steals in as many attempts. Rotowire.com Today, 5:40 pm

  • Ryan McMahon reaches three times in loss
Ryan McMahon singled and drew a pair of walks as the Rockies were shut out by Gavin Stone and a host of Dodgers’ relievers on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

Advice: As a team, the Rockies totaled just five hits in the contest, with only one of them (a double by Charlie Blackmon) going for extra bases. McMahon continues to have a terrific season in the middle of the Rockies’ lineup — slashing .284/.371/.470 with 10 homers and 34 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 5:12 pm

  • Bat remains hot
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Bregman is starting to heat up, collecting his fourth homer in six games along with adding his fifth multi-hit effort over the last eight. Sunday's performance lifted Bregman's slash line to .229/.287/.395 while during this recent eight-game run he's batting 12-for-32 (.375) with four homers, seven RBI and five runs scored. • Homers, doubles in game-winner
Miranda went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Miranda collected his 10th multi-hit game of the season, homering in the sixth to knot the game at three, then adding a go-ahead RBI double in the eighth that served as the game-winner for the Twins. After struggling to a .211 average in 40 games last season, Miranda has fared much better this season, posting a slash line of .280/.311/.469 with six homers, nine doubles, 20 RBI and 19 runs through 151 plate appearances. • Rafael Devers homers, triples, walks versus Tigers
Rafael Devers homered, tripled and walked Sunday in a loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Devers has done his best work this season batting second, and the Red Sox might have won today had they had him in that spot behind Jarren Duran, who was on base four times. Instead, they had him batting fourth behind Dominic Smith of all people. Devers did drive in Smith with the triple, but the homer was a solo shot. It was his first game with multiple extra-base hits since he doubled twice on May 3. Rotoworld Today, 2:07 pm

  • Gunnar Henderson homers, reaches five times
Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-3 with a homer and two walks Sunday versus the Rays.

Advice: The homer, his 19th of the season, led off the bottom of the first. Henderson’s batting average has slipped in recent weeks — he came in at .221 in May after hitting .291 in April — but he’s still crushing it in terms of homers and walks. Rotoworld Today, 1:47 pm

  • Not yet swinging
Muncy (oblique) said Sunday he's been shut down from swinging for the past 7-to-10 days after he felt a "twinge" around his rib cage, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Timesreports.

Advice: The 33-year-old landed on the injured list in mid-May with the oblique strain and doesn't appear to have made significant progress in his recovery. Per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, Muncy was able to field groundballs Sunday but is shut down from most baseball activities, so he's likely not particularly close to rejoining the Dodgers.
