    • Receiving Tuesday off
Raliegh is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Raleigh started the previous four games and will receive a day off after going 2-for-15 with two homers during that stretch. Seby Zavala will take over behind the plate and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 3:12 pm

    • Spencer Turnbull to pitch in relief on Tuesday night
Spencer Turnbull will pitch in relief during Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Turnbull is expected to piggyback with southpaw Cristopher Sánchez on Tuesday night when the Phillies take on the Blue Jays at Citizens Bank Park. The 31-year-old right-hander has been brilliant this season in his Philadelphia debut before Taijuan Walker’s return last week bumped him back to the bullpen. He figures to gobble up a couple frames in this contest, which will be his first appearance since last Tuesday when he allowed two runs over 5 1/3 frames against the Angels. Rotoworld Today, 1:58 pm
    • Wenceel PĂ©rez returns to lineup Tuesday vs. Guards
Wenceel PĂ©rez (illness) has returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Guardians.

Advice: PĂ©rez is back in center field and batting second for Tuesday’s contest at Progressive Field following a two-game absence due to illness. The 24-year-old has gotten off to an encouraging start in his big-league debut, batting .296 with three homers and two steals in 19 games since being called up back in early April. • Back in action
Perez (illness) is batting second and playing center field Tuesday against Cleveland.

Advice: Perez had missed back-to-back games due to illness but will return to the lineup for Tuesday's action, replacing the now-demoted Parker Meadows in center field. Rotowire.com Today, 1:15 pm

    • Will follow Sanchez in relief
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said that Turnbull will pitch in relief Tuesday against the Blue Jays, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Thomson wouldn't reveal exactly how Turnbull will be used, but Gelb says the right-hander will likely pitch three innings or so in what could be a piggyback situation with starter Cristopher Sanchez. Turnbull was demoted to the bullpen recently in spite of a 1.67 ERA and 36:10 K:BB in 32.1 innings this season, as the team has an eye on his workload since he hasn't thrown more than 56.2 innings in a season since 2019. • Takes light swings in cage
Gelof (oblique) has progressed to taking light swings in the batting cage, but he remains without a firm timetable for return, MLB.com reports.

Advice: It's been an eventful last few days on the recovery front for Gelof, who resumed some baseball activities by fielding grounders and playing catch Wednesday and then threw across the infield before the Athletics' game Friday. The progression to picking up a bat is another step in the right direction, but the team remains committed to not sending Gelof out on a rehab assignment prematurely due to the risk of aggravating the injury. • Steals another base
Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and a stolen base Monday in a loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Chisholm put his speed on display in the first inning, reaching on a leadoff infield single, swiping second base and coming around to score on a single. He finished with his second straight multi-hit game, and he's stolen three bases over that pair of contests. Chisholm's career high in stolen bases is 23 (set in 2021), and he's on pace to surpass that mark with eight thefts through 36 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm

    • Snaps slump with long homer
Outman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 6-3 win over Miami.

Advice: Outman was dropped to ninth in the batting order Monday after primarily batting in the No. 7 slot throughout the campaign, and he responded with his first long ball -- a 437-foot, two-run shot -- since April 9. It's been a struggle for Outman in his second full big-league campaign, as he's slashing a meager .169/.267/.303 and came into Monday having hit just .107 (3-for-28) over his previous nine contests. Outman may need to build upon Monday's homer with an extended run of success to continue to hold onto an everyday spot in the lineup, as rookie Andy Pages appears to have earned consistent playing time, Teoscar Hernandez is a staple in left field and veteran Jason Heyward (back) is getting closer to a return. • Batting ninth Monday
Outman will start in center field and bat ninth in Monday's game versus the Marlins.

Advice: Outman has mostly batted seventh this season, but he hit eighth in his last two starts and is now down in the nine spot for the first time since July of 2023. He entered play Monday hitting just .107/.219/.143 across his last nine contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:25 pm
