    • On base three times Sunday
Varsho went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Advice: He was also caught stealing for the first time in six attempts, but overall it was a strong performance from Varsho, who got the start in center field and hit eighth. The 27-year-old has had trouble building momentum at the plate -- he hasn't hit safely in three straight games since early May -- and on the season he's slashing .213/.301/.454 with 10 homers, 30 RBI and 33 runs in 54 contests. • Fans seven in win
Peralta (4-3) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk over five innings Sunday, striking out seven and earning a win over the White Sox.

Advice: Peralta coughed up two runs in the first inning before Paul DeJong knocked a solo shot in the fourth. It was Peralta's first win since April 30 after he went 0-3 with a 4.08 ERA in five May starts. He racked up 21 swinging strikes, matching the season high that he set in his last appearance. He's registered an impressive 39:6 K:BB over his last five starts, improving his season mark to 89:21. Peralta will carry a 3.74 ERA into his next matchup, which is projected to be in Detroit. • Exits early with hamstring injury
Marsh suffered a right hamstring strain and was removed from Sunday's contest with the Cardinals in the bottom of the eighth inning, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Marsh notched a single off of reliever Andrew Kittredge to open the bottom of the eighth, leaving the game after advancing to second base on a base knock from Nick Castellanos. The outfielder will likely undergo additional testing on his leg and a trip to the injured list is certainly on the table. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:54 pm
    • Brandon Marsh diagnosed with hamstring strain
The Phillies announced that Brandon Marsh was pulled from Sunday’s game against the Cardinals due to a right hamstring strain.

Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder suffered the injury while running the bases in the eighth inning on Sunday. He’ll head for further evaluation to determine the severity of the strain. Expect the Phillies to provide an update on his status on Monday. Fantasy managers who are relying on Marsh for next week should be sure to have a contingency plan in place. • Brandon Marsh leaves game Sunday with leg injury
Brandon Marsh was removed from Sunday night’s battle against the Cardinals in the eighth inning due to an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Marsh rounded second base and wanted to turn on the jets to go to third, but pulled up lame and had to hobble back into second base. It’s unclear if it was a hamstring or some sort of knee issue, though he was able to walk off the field under his own power. He’ll head for further evaluation. Cristian Pache came in to replace him and would be in line for increased action if Marsh is forced to miss any time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:42 pm
    • Tallies three hits
Perez went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Perez matched a season high with three hits, plating a run with his seventh-inning double, later scoring the go-ahead run in the 10th. He had entered the game in a 3-for-28 skid over his last seven starts prior to his outburst Sunday. The 24-year-old rookie outfielder has now accumulated 14 extra-base hits including six doubles, five triples and three homers while driving in 15, scoring 22 and swiping four bags over 152 plate appearances. • Homers, triples in losing effort
Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, triple, two RBI and a walk Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: Devers third-inning triple plated a run while his solo blast in the eighth knotted the game at four and set the stage for extra innings. It was the second triple and 11th homer of the season for Devers, who entered the game in a mini 1-for-10 slump since accumulating four hits against the Orioles on Tuesday. It was also the first dinger for Devers since hitting homers in six-consecutive games from May 15-20. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:17 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. drives in one in loss
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in a loss to the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. gave the Padres a 2-1 lead in the eighth inning with a run-scoring single that should have been enough to close this one out. It was his 31st RBI of the season and while the 25-year-old hasn’t truly exploded at any point this year, he could easily finish the season with 30 home runs and 20 steals, which is impressive work. If he can keep his batting average around .270, he should still put up fringe first-round value even though he hasn’t stood out as an elite fantasy player at any stretch this season. • Wenceel Pérez collects three hits in Tigers’ win
Wenceel Pérez finished 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Sunday as the Tigers topped the Red Sox 8-4 in 10 innings.

Advice: The second run came as the automatic runner in the 10th. Each time it’s looked like Pérez’s hot start to his big-league career might be coming to a conclusion, he bounces back with something like this. The 24-year-old had gone 6-for-40 with one RBI in his previous 10 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm
