    • Blue Jays and Red Sox suspended due to rain
Wednesday’s game between the Blue Jays and Red Sox in Boston was suspended due to rain.

Advice: There hadn’t been any rain in the forecast, but a storm popped up early in the second inning and washed out any chances of the two sides getting this game in. The game will resume on August 26 in the top half of the second inning, with the Blue Jays having a runner at first base with one out. Unfortunately for this week, both Kutter Crawford and Yariel Rodriguez won’t be able to deliver anything for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Today, 6:00 pm

    • Allows four runs in loss
Castillo (6-9) took the loss against the Rays on Tuesday, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Castillo surrendered a leadoff home run to Yandy Diaz in the first inning and an RBI single to Jose Siri in the second. He responded with three scoreless frames but was pulled after walking two batters in the sixth. Both baserunners scored, resulting in the third time Castillo has yielded at least four earned runs in June. The 31-year-old owns a 3.79 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 100:30 K:BB over 99.2 innings this season and lines up to face the Orioles next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:56 pm
    • Luis Castillo chased in 6th in loss to Rays
Luis Castillo allowed four runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: The Mariners ace struck out four and walked four on the day. He wasn’t sharp, with just a 44 percent zone rate on the day, but he had kept it together until the sixth inning. With the game tied at two, Castillo got one quick out but walked the next two hitters and was chased from the game. Michael Baumann then allowed a triple and a home run to bring in both inherited runners. Castillo had nine whiffs on 44 swings for a 20 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW on the day. We can probably chalk this up to a poor start, but it’s his second straight one so we’d like to see him right the ship next time out. The only problem is that the start comes against the Orioles. • Posts 16th save
Megill earned a save against Texas on Monday, striking out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: Megill hit a batter with two outs in his inning of work, but it didn't cost him any runs. The right-hander was able to notch his 10th straight successful save conversion -- he hasn't blown an opportunity since May 20. Megill has proven to be a more-than-adequate fill-in for rehabbing closer Devin Williams (back), as he's tied for eighth in MLB with 16 saves (in 17 opportunities) while posting a 1.85 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 30:7 K:BB through 24.1 innings. • Trevor Megill records 16th save for Brewers
Trevor Megill was perfect in the ninth in earning his 16th save Monday against the Rangers.

Advice: Remember when it was Abner Uribe and then Joel Payamps getting saves for the Brewers. Megill didn’t earn his first until Apr. 25, so all 16 of his have come in a two-month span. Rotoworld Monday, 9:15 pm

    • Collects seventh hold
Garrett gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless eighth inning Sunday to record his seventh hold of the season in a win over the Cubs.

Advice: Edwin Diaz came on the ninth but got ejected for a foreign substance, and Jake Diekman wound up getting a one-out save as Mets manager Carlos Mendoza scrambled to fill in for his closer. Diaz is facing a 10-game suspension, and based on Mendoza's bullpen usage while the right-hander was out injured, Garrett should be viewed as the favorite to handle any save chances during that time. Diekman, Adam Ottavino, Drew Smith and even potentially Dedniel Nunez could all be factors in the ninth as well, however. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:11 am

    • Holds on for 22nd save
Finnegan picked up the save Sunday against Colorado, allowing two hits with two strikeouts across a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: After blowing the save Saturday night on a pitch clock violation with the bases loaded -- the first time that's happened since MLB introduced the pitch clock -- Finnegan was able to convert for his 22nd save of the campaign Sunday. However, he flirted with danger as Ryan McMahon and Brendan Rodgers hit back-to-back singles to start the final half-inning. Finnegan kept the game-tying run at second and retired three straight to close out the contest. The 32-year-old trails only Ryan Helsley and Emmanuel Clase for the most saves in baseball. • Scoreless outing as opener
Kelly allowed a hit over 2.2 shutout innings as the opener during Sunday's win over the Reds. He struck out three batters.

Advice: Boston used eight pitchers in the victory, and Kelly set the tone early with a strong performance. He's given up just one run over his last 11.2 innings, lowering his season ERA to 1.59 through 28.1 frames. Kelly is 2-1 with four holds this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:14 pm

    • Kyle Finnegan escapes with 22nd save
Kyle Finnegan recorded his 22nd save in a 2-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: It was not without drama, which is par for the course with Finnegan’s saves. He allowed back-to-back singles to start the inning, but then got Nolan Jones to strike out, Hunter Goodman to fly out, and caught Michael Toglia looking to end the game. Finnegan has a 2.23 ERA on the season but could lose a significant amount of fantasy value if he gets traded at the deadline. Depending on where he ends up, he could find himself in a late-inning set-up role. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:57 pm
