      Ronald Acuña Jr. went 3-for-4 with a run scored on Saturday in the Braves’ loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: There weren’t a ton of positive takeaways for Atlanta in this one, but Acuña continues to perform well with a pair of multi-hit performances in the series.       Jones did not factor into the decision in Saturday's win against the Rockies. He allowed one hit and no walks while striking out 10 over seven scoreless innings.

      Advice: The 22-year-old right-hander bounced back from a rather modest showing his last time out, matching his career high with 10 strikeouts. Jones got 17 swings and misses on 96 pitches and touched 100 mph with his heater a couple times. While he has a losing record at 2-3, Jones is off to a historically great start to his career. He became the first pitcher in Pirates history with an outing consisting of seven shutout innings, one hit or fewer allowed, 10 strikeout and zero walks Saturday, and per MLB's Sarah Langs, Jones is the first pitcher since at least 1901 with 50-plus strikeouts and five or fewer walks in his first seven career starts.       Wyatt Langford was removed from Saturday night’s battle against the Royals after suffering a leg injury while running to first base.

      Advice: The 22-year-old phenom hit a slow tapper out in front of home plate and was much slower than usual getting to first base. The exit could have been precautionary, with the Rangers holding a big early lead in the game, but we’ll know more when they provide an update on Langford’s status. Stay tuned.       Langford exited Saturday's game against the Royals in the fifth inning due to right hamstring tightness, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

      Advice: Langford slowed up noticeably while trying to beat out a dribbler in front of the plate in the top of the fifth inning and was removed for defense prior to the bottom of the frame.     • Jared Jones strikes out ten over seven scoreless
      Jared Jones tossed seven shutout innings with ten strikeouts in a no-decision against the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: There were some concerns over Jones’ velocity his last time out. He looked just fine on Saturday, shutting down the Rockies over seven innings. He was back up to 97.6 mph on the fastball, generating 17 whiffs to strike out ten batters. Jones allowed just one baserunner on the day, a double by Elias Díaz in the fifth inning. The 22-year-old right-hander will take an outstanding 2.63 ERA, 0.78 WHIP, and a 52/5 K/BB ratio across 41 innings into a start against the Cubs in Pittsburgh on Friday.       Singer took a no-decision Friday against the Rangers after allowing one earned run on four hits while striking out eight batters through six innings. He did not issue a walk.

      Advice: Although Singer turned in yet another strong outing Friday, his contributions went unrewarded as the Royals were unable to take the lead until after the 27-year-old was removed from the game, giving the win to John Schreiber instead. Singer didn't get the win, but his 2.45 ERA and 42 strikeouts through 40.1 innings on the season still give fantasy managers plenty of reason to be pleased with his performance to begin the year.       Pages went 4-for-5 with one RBI in Friday's win over Atlanta.

      Advice: The four hits, all singles, were a new career high for Pages. The Dodgers rookie also drove in the game-winning run, bringing home Will Smith for a walkoff victory in the 11th inning.     • Acuña hits game-tying homer, but Atlanta falls to LAD
      Ronald Acuña hit a solo homer while going 2-for-5 in an extra-inning loss to the Dodgers on Friday.

      Advice: Acuña Jr. hasn’t shown a ton of power in the early portion of the season, but he came through in a big way with a game-tying homer in the eighth off Daniel Hudson in the eighth. That’s just the second roundtripper of the season for the reigning MVP, but it’s hard to fathom the power isn’t going to come from a player that swatted 41 homers in 2023.       Andy Pages went 4-for-5 with the game-winning single in the 11th inning to give the Dodgers a 4-3 win over Atlanta on Friday.

      Advice: Pages put an end to that chapter, with the chapter being an 11-inning affair in this case. The rookie outfielder has his first ever four-hit game, and one of those was a walk-off single in the 11th off Jesse Chavez.
