Edward Cabrera whiffs nine, allows four vs. Rockies
Edward Cabrera allowed four runs in four innings while fanning nine against the Rockies on Thursday.
Advice: Cabrera pitched better than this line suggests, but a three-run homer by Jacob Stallings turned a strong outing into a mediocre one. The right-hander did have command issues, however, as he walked four and threw 56-of-91 pitches for strikes. Still, an encouraging outing that showed off the 26-year-old’s swing-and-miss potential. He still shouldn’t be used next week against the Dodgers.
