    Advice: An error by the usually sure-handed Masyn Winn in the second inning ultimately allowed two runs to score. In the fifth, Lynn and catcher Ivan Herrera each committed an error as well, allowing the Phillies to generate another two runs. Since the Cardinals' defense let him down, Lynn will avoid any damage on his ERA, which is now at 3.23 on the year after this short outing.     Advice: Holmes quickly finished off the 7-5 win Sunday, needing just 12 pitches to retire San Francisco's 2-3-4 hitters in order. He began the year without allowing an earned run through 20 innings before coughing up four in a brutal outing against Seattle on May 20.     Advice: Wednesday's outing marked the seventh start of Bubic's rehab assignment and his first with Omaha after stops in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Bubic's 30-day rehab window is slated to come to a close during the upcoming week, and even though he's coming off his longest and best rehab outing yet, the Royals may not have a spot available for him in the big-league rotation.     Ryan Helsley closed out the Phillies in the 10th inning on Sunday night, working a scoreless frame to protect a one-run advantage.

    Advice: The 29-year-old right-hander had to do some work, as Bryce Harper advanced to third base on a fly ball to start the inning, but Helsley battled back to strike out Cristian Pache and Nick Castellanos to leave the tying run stranded there.     Lance Lynn wasn’t at his best in Sunday night’s no-decision against the Phillies, surrendering four runs on three hits over his four-plus frames.

    Advice: The right-hander struck out four batters on the night while issuing a pair of free passes. The Phillies scratched out a pair of runs against him in the second inning on an RBI double by Garrett Stubbs and a ground ball by Johan Rojas. Lynn then allowed a two-run single to Stott in the fifth inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen. Lynn got nine swings and misses on 78 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 23 percent.
