      Advice: Despite tying his season high in walks, Brown allowed only a pair of runners to score and held the Mariners to just one extra-base hit. Brown has lasted less than five innings in five of his seven starts this season and owns an ugly 8.89 ERA through 27.1 innings. With Cristian Javier (neck) set to return in the next week or so, Brown's time in the rotation could be coming to a close. However, Houston could drop rookie Spencer Arrighetti instead.       Advice: Skubal continues to dominate, as the 12 strikeouts were a season high and marked the first double-digit strikeout effort of the campaign for the ace lefty. It was the sixth time in seven games Skubal has allowed two or fewer earned runs, as the outing raised his ERA to 1.90 with a 0.77 WHIP and 53 strikeouts over 42.2 innings.       Tarik Skubal pitched well in a no-decision against the Yankees on Sunday afternoon, piling up 12 strikeouts over six innings of two-run baseball.

      Advice: The hard-throwing southpaw allowed six hits on the day and didn’t allow a base on balls. All of the damage done against him came in the first two innings, as Aaron Judge crushed a solo homer in the first and Oswaldo Cabrera added an RBI double in the second. Skubal generated 18 swings and misses on 96 pitches on the day — a whopping 12 of those on his changeup — while posting a ridiculous CSW of 44 percent.       Hunter Brown lasted 4 1/3 innings and allowed two runs Sunday in a no-decision versus the Mariners.

      Advice: Brown walked four and threw 91 pitches to get his 13 outs. His 13.1% walk rate this season is more than 50% higher than his previous career mark, and nothing else he’s doing is making up for that.       Advice: Harrison issued a season-high five free passes -- as many as he had handed out over six starts coming into the contest -- but managed to continuously get out of trouble, as none of the batters he put on base via walk came around to score. The southpaw thus managed to emerge with a no-decision, though his high pitch count of 95 offerings limited him to five frames and prevented him from picking up what could have been his fifth quality start of the campaign. Though Harrison has settled for a no-decision in each of his past two appearances, he's allowed just one run while fanning 14 batters over 11 frames during that span.       Kyle Harrison went five innings while allowing one run on three hits with seven strikeouts against the Red Sox on Thursday.

      Advice: It wasn’t always easy for Harrison despite the strong line. The left-hander didn’t find the strike zone on a consistent basis, as he issued five walks with 57-of-95 pitches counting for strikes. Still, the 22-year-old was able to work around those free passes thanks in large part to those aforementioned strikeouts, and he’s allowed just one run over his last two starts.       Manager Torey Lovullo said after Wednesday's 8-0 loss to the Dodgers that Gallen (hamstring) will make his next start Tuesday against the Reds, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

      Advice: Gallen was removed from his most recent start last Friday with a hamstring injury. The Diamondbacks had tentatively planned for Gallen to start the series finale with the Dodgers, but he ultimately needed more time to heal up from the injury. Arizona will skip his turn in the rotation entirely this week, but he'll tentatively line up for two starts the following week.       Imanaga (5-0) tossed seven scoreless innings to earn the win in Wednesday's 1-0 victory over the Mets. He allowed three hits and a walk, while striking out seven.

      Advice: Imanaga continued the amazing start to his MLB career, as he now has a stellar 0.78 ERA across 34.2 innings to go along with 35 strikeouts. The lefty has allowed zero earned runs in four of his six appearances so far, and the most he's allowed in an outing was the two earned runs he gave up back on April 20. While it seems unlikely that Imanaga will be able to keep up this incredible pace, it does look like he's already cemented himself as a fantasy star this season.       Advice: Imanaga continues his impressive debut in the majors, making his best start yet on Wednesday with seven shutout frames against the Mets. He worked around three hits and one walk, generating 15 whiffs to strike out seven. The 30-year-old left-hander lowers his ERA to a microscopic 0.78 with a 0.75 WHIP and a 35/4 K/BB ratio across 34 2/3 innings. He lines up for a start against the Padres in Chicago on Monday.
