    Advice: Abrams broke a scoreless tie in the sixth frame with his leadoff homer against Atlanta starter Reynaldo Lopez. The shortstop came into the contest having gone 1-for-21 over his previous seven games and recently missed time due to a shoulder issue, so the long ball was a much-needed positive development.     Witt went 1-for-4 with a walk and two stolen bases in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Guardians.

    Advice: Witt has gone 13-for-31 (.419) with 10 RBI and three steals during his seven-game hitting streak. While he didn't score Thursday, he was active on the basepaths for his third multi-steal game of the season.     Rafaela went 4-for-6 with four RBI and one run scored in Thursday's 14-2 win over the White Sox.

    Advice: Rafaela entered Thursday 0-for-10 across his last three games before enjoying a breakout performance. While all four of his hits were singles, three of them led to more runs on the board for the Red Sox. The 23-year-old is slashing a meager .215/.243/.374 through 62 contests, but he's batting .276 (16-for-58) over his last 16 games to show some improvement.     Rockies 2B prospect Adael Amador went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Thursday for Double-A Hartford.

    Advice: It certainly feels like Amador has heard all of the recent chatter regarding his slow start this season at the plate in the upper minors as he’s exploded for six round-trippers over his last eight games for Triple-A Hartford. The 21-year-old top prospect still has plenty of work to do from a batting average standpoint, but the fact that he’s starting to hit for more over-the-fence pop is an extremely encouraging development.     Anthony Volpe went 1-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base against the Twins on Thursday.

    Carlos Correa went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI against the Yankees on Thursday.

    Advice: It was a quiet night for the Cardinals offense, but Winn returned from a back injury and added another two hits out of the leadoff spot.     X-rays came back negative on Nico Hoerner’s hand after being hit by a pitch during Thursday’s game against the Reds.

    Advice: Hoerner remained in the contest and appears to have avoided serious injury after being plunked on the hand by a 96.5 mph fastball from Reds starter Hunter Greene during the early stages of the game.
