    • Evan Carter out Monday against Athletics
Evan Carter is out of the starting lineup for Monday’s game against the Athletics.

Advice: Carter will get a day of rest against southpaw Alex Wood. While Carter sits the Rangers will have Ezequiel Duran play left field and hit seventh. Josh Smith also gets the day off for the Rangers with Davis Wendzel getting the start at third. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:57 pm
    • Sitting versus southpaw
Carter is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: The A's are sending southpaw Alex Wood to the hill, so the left-handed hitting Carter will receive a day off. Ezequiel Duran is getting the start in left field Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:56 pm
    • Not starting Monday
Wisdom is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Wisdom had served as the Cubs' designated hitter in three of the past four games, going 4-for-11 with a home run, a double, two two walks, two RBI, three runs and two stolen bases during that stretch. Christopher Morel will get a day out of the field and will be deployed at DH, but Wisdom could have a hold on a near-everyday role until Seiya Suzuki (oblique) returns from the injured list. • Added to Monday's lineup
Drury will start at second base and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Pirates, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Drury was initially slated to receive the day off, but he'll end up handling his usual role as the starting second baseman after Luis Rengifo (illness) was scratched. The 31-year-old Drury heads into Monday's contest in a 2-for-31 funk at the plate over his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:15 pm

    • Absent from lineup
Drury is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Pirates, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Advice: Drury played the last two games after missing the two contests before that with a migraine. He's also missed time recently with a hamstring issue and has managed just two hits in his last 31 at-bats. Luis Rengifo will replace Drury at second base Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:58 am

    • Game-winning long ball Sunday
Raleigh went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a win over the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: The 27-year-old cleared the fences for the second straight game, launching a tie-breaking homer in the ninth inning that would turn out to be the difference in the contest. Raleigh has now reached safely in four the last five games, but he's still carrying a lackluster .210 average and .288 on-base percentage across 118 plate appearances. • Cleared to start Wednesday
Kirby (knee) is listed as the Mariners' probable starting pitcher for Wednesday's game against the Twins at Target Field.

Advice: In his most recent start Friday against the Astros, Kirby contended with a right knee issue and was lifted after just 88 pitches. Kirby was sent in for an MRI on Saturday, and though the Mariners aren't disclosing the results of his imaging, neither the pitcher nor manager Scott Servais believe the knee issue is anything concerning, per MLB.com. The Mariners' tune could change if Kirby's knee is still bothering him following a between-starts bullpen session, but for now, fantasy managers should plan on the right-hander being available to start Wednesday without restrictions. • Starting to hit for power
Arozarena went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Arozarena took Edwin Diaz yard in the ninth inning to tie the game, tallying his fifth home run of the season and second in his last three starts. He also swiped his fifth base of the year and has yet to be caught. It's been an ugly start to the season for Arozarena, and even with this burst of power, he has failed to record multiple hits in a game since March 30. The slow start has been the result of some bad luck -- he has a .165 BABIP -- but he's also struck out at an elevated 29.8 percent clip across 141 plate appearances. • Immaculate day at plate
Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ohtani moved into a tie for first place in the majors with his ninth and 10th home runs of the season, and his perfect day at the dish also brought his average up to .364, vaulting him past the Phillies' Alec Bohm (.360) for the best mark in baseball. The lefty-hitting Ohtani did all his damage against southpaws, opening the day with a two-run blast in the first inning and base hits in the third and sixth innings off Max Fried before tacking on a 464-foot solo shot off A.J. Minter in the eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:09 am
