    • Five hits across doubleheader
Correa went 5-for-10 with two home runs and four RBI as the Twins swept Sunday's doubleheader versus the Athletics.

Advice: Correa played a massive role in winning Game 1 -- he opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in the fourth. He was steady again in Game 2, though without the same level of power on display. The shortstop has eight multi-hit efforts over his last 11 contests, going a stunning 24-for-47 (.511) in that span. He was hitting .247 the game before the surge started, but he's up to .308 now with an .878 OPS, eight homers, 35 RBI, 34 runs scored and no stolen bases through 54 contests this season. • K's season-high seven
Eflin did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

Advice: Eflin entered the sixth inning with a four-run lead but after retiring the first two batters of the inning, allowed four-consecutive singles, and was removed one-out shy of completing six full innings. The seven strikeouts marked a season high for Eflin, who had failed to record more than three strikeouts during any of his previous five starts. He'll carry a 4.12 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his next start, currently slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates. • Marcus Stroman gives up four runs in loss Sunday
Marcus Stroman struggled in a losing effort against the Red Sox on Sunday night, giving up four runs on seven hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 33-year-old hurler also walked four batters in the ballgame while punching out three. The Red Sox scratched out two runs against him in the second inning on a two-out, two-run single by Ceddanne Rafaela, then tacked on single runs in the third and in the fifth. They also took advantage of Stroman and Jose Trevino on the basepaths, swiping six bases in their five innings. Stroman got seven swings and misses on 102 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of only 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a 3.08 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and a 61/38 K/BB ratio (84 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Today, 7:19 pm
    • Earns league-leading 24th save
Helsley allowed two walks during a scoreless ninth to pick up the save Sunday against the Cubs. He struck out one.

Advice: Helsley tossed just 11 of 23 pitches for strikes and started behind in the count to four of five batters faced but still managed to finish off the game for the Cardinals when a drive to the gap by pinch-hitter Patrick Wisdom with two on was snagged by Brendan Donovan to preserve the win. It was another shaky outing for Helsley who has struggled recently with his command, walking four over his last two appearances. Despite the recent trouble, he maintains an ERA of 2.53 and has converted on each of his last 24 save opportunities, last blowing a save on March 30 during his first appearance of the season. • Homers, drives in five
Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he had only five hits and one RBI over his last eight games. The 29-year-old's 15 home runs are tied for fifth most in the National League. He'll carry a .232/.310/.461 slash line into their next series vs the Rangers. Rotowire.com Today, 2:38 pm

    • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D. Martinez so there will likely be many more opportunities for him to drive in runs. Rotoworld Today, 2:15 pm

    • Correa hammers three hits, two home runs Sunday
Carlos Correa went 3-for-5 with two home runs, two runs scored, and 3 RBI against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Correa continues his hot streak at the dish. The two home runs give him eight total on the season and his average is up to .306 with an .879 OPS. He’s been as good as a player can be in fantasy without stealing bases.

    • Zach Eflin strikes out seven in no-decision
Zach Eflin allowed three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Braves. He allowed seven hits while walking one and striking out seven.

Advice: Eflin continues to flash the brilliance he showed last season while faltering in key moments. He cruised through five innings after a lead-off home run by Jarred Kelenic but unraveled with two outs in the sixth. It’s frustrating to see him fall one out shy of the quality start while the bullpen blew his win despite objectively pitching well against Atlanta. His ERA sits at 4.12 on the season. • Ryan Helsley nabs league-leading 24th save
Ryan Helsley closed out the Cubs on Sunday. He struck out one, walked two, and stranded both runners on base.

Advice: Helsely got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game. Helsley is fully back to being one of the best closers in baseball after an injury-marred 2023 season. Rotoworld Today, 1:06 pm
