    • Ryan Jeffers goes 3-for-5, homers in rout
Ryan Jeffers went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and four RBI against the Tigers on Thursday.

Advice: He was also hit by a pitch in the seventh on what proved to be the last play in a rain-shortened game. Jeffers had a great first month and a half, followed by a bad second month and a half; he came into this one batting .157/.252/.269 since May 15. Hopefully, this was the start of him getting untracked and going back to being a viable option in one-catcher mixed leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:31 pm
    • Resuming rehab assignment
Davis (concussion) will resume a rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis on Thursday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Davis was pulled off a rehab assignment with Double-A Altoona this past weekend after he experienced recurring concussion symptoms. However, he's evidently passed the necessary protocols and will resume things in Indianapolis. Davis could be ready for activation soon if he can avoid another setback, but he's not guaranteed to return to the big-league roster at that time. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:15 pm

    • Reds outright Austin Wynns to Triple-A
Reds sent C Austin Wynns outright to Triple-A Louisville.

Advice: Wynns passed through waivers unclaimed after being designated for assignment earlier this week and will remain with Cincinnati as emergency catching depth stashed at Triple-A Louisville. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:07 pm
    • Bo Naylor drives in two, steals base in victory
Bo Naylor went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base Thursday in a victory over the White Sox.

Advice: It’s the second steal of the season for Naylor. The 24-year-old drove in two with a single in the third to extend Cleveland’s lead to 5-1. Naylor has long-term appeal, but a .210/.277/.333 slash helps tell the story that it’s just theory at this stage of his career. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:59 pm

    • Pedro Pages hits go-ahead RBI double in 10th
Pedro Pages hit a go-ahead double in the 10th inning to help the Cardinals to a 3-2 win over the Pirates on Thursday.

Advice: Pages gave the Cardinals a 2-1 lead with his double to score Mike Siani. The backstop has hit just .194/.259/.333 thus far in 2024, and he isn’t going to get enough playing time — nor play well enough when he’s in — to suggest as a fantasy option. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:32 pm

    • Mitch Garver back in lineup Thursday vs. Orioles
Mitch Garver (wrist) is back in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Orioles.

Advice: Garver is back at designated hitter for Thursday’s game following a brief two-game absence due to a right wrist contusion. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:04 pm
    • Outrighted to Louisville
Wynns cleared waivers Thursday and accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Louisville, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 33-year-old backstop was dropped from the 40-man roster Tuesday following the return of Tyler Stephenson but will remain in the Reds' farm system instead of testing his luck in the open market. Wynns has slashed .250/.309/.410 in 110 plate appearances with the Bats, and he would be the first choice to return to Cincinnati should Stephenson or Luke Maile need to miss an extended period of time. • Idle Thursday
Rutschman isn't in the Orioles' lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Rutschman will get a day to regroup Thursday after being held hitless in 13 at-bats over his last four games. James McCann will instead get the nod to start at catcher while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:12 am
    • Sitting Thursday
Langeliers isn't in the Athletics' lineup for Thursday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Langeliers will get a breather after he went 1-for-4 and stole a base during Wednesday's win. Kyle McCann will start behind the plate instead and bat fifth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:07 am
