    • Homers again
Steer went 1-for-3 with a home run and an additional run in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Steer homered for a third straight game when he launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. He's up to 13 home runs and a team-high 57 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:02 am

    • Slugs 16th homer
Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in a loss to the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Rutschman's three-run blast in the seventh inning didn't have much of an impact on the outcome since Oakland still led 17-4 at that point, but it may have been a momentum-shifter personally after he had collected just one hit over his previous 19 at-bats. The long ball also moved him into second place for homers among MLB catchers with 16 on the campaign. Only Oakland's Shea Langeliers -- who hit his 17th homer in the same contest Saturday -- has more home runs among big-league backstops. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:16 pm
    • Takes third loss
Suarez (10-3) allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings to take the loss versus Atlanta on Saturday.

Advice: Only three Atlanta batters got hits in the contest, but they each had two against Suarez. Ozzie Albies and Marcell Ozuna both homered and combined to drive in all five runs. Suarez has allowed 15 runs (13 earned) across 15.2 innings over his last three starts, accounting for three of the four times he's given up at least four runs this year. He's at a 2.58 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 106:23 K:BB through 108 innings over 18 starts. Suarez will look to end his early-summer swoon in a favorable home start versus the Athletics next week. • Ranger Suárez struggles in loss to Braves Saturday
Ranger Suárez had his second straight rough outing in Saturday’s loss to the Braves, surrendering five runs on six hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 28-year-old southpaw racked up seven strikeouts on the night while issuing a pair of free passes. Most of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Marcell Ozuna clubbing a two-run homer to cap off a three-run first inning and Ozzie Albies smacking a two-run homer in the fifth. Suárez got 13 swings and misses on 91 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 27 percent. This was the third straight rough start for Suárez who has seen his impeccable 1.75 ERA swell to 2.58. He’ll look to get back on track and finish the first half strong when he takes on the Athletics at home on Friday. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:24 pm
    • Will Smith homers again as Dodgers top Brewers
Will Smith homered again on Saturday, powering the Dodgers to a 5-3 victory over the visiting Brewers.

Advice: After homering in each of his final three at-bats on Friday night, Smith left the yard in his fourth straight at-bat with his 369-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Freddy Peralta in the opening inning on Saturday. In doing so, he became just the third player in Dodgers’ history to homer in four straight at-bats, joining Adrian Gonzalez (2015) and Shawn Green (2002). That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night, but it played a significant role in propelling the Dodgers to victory. On the season, the 29-year-old backstop is now slashing .276/.348/.509 with 15 homers and 55 RBI. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:16 pm

    • Shohei Ohtani fills up box score in win Saturday
Shohei Ohtani homered, tripled, walked twice, was hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a run as the Dodgers triumphed over the Brewers on Saturday evening in Los Angeles.

Advice: Ohtani started the home half of the first inning by working a walk off of Freddy Peralta. He then rode home on Will Smith’s two-run blast. The 30-year-old superstar was hit by a pitch with two outs in the second inning and swiped second base, but the Dodgers were unable to cash him in. He then crushed a two-out triple off of Bryse Wilson in the sixth inning but was stranded there. Ohtani also crushed a 430-foot (109.9 mph EV) solo shot off of Bryan Hudson in the eighth inning that extended the Dodgers’ lead to 5-3. He finished the night 2-for-2 officially and is now hitting .316/.402/.643 with 28 homers, 65 RBI and 18 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:16 pm

    • Ketel Marte (back) held out of lineup on Saturday
Ketel Marte (back) was held out of the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup for Saturday evening’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: Marte was removed from Friday’s game due to tightness in his back. The Diamondbacks are hopeful that it’s only a minor issue and won’t require a lengthy absence. He’s expected to be available off the bench on Saturday night and could return to the Diamondbacks’ lineup for Sunday’s series finale. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:32 pm

    • Held out of starting nine
Marte (back) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Marte was removed from Friday's 10-8 loss with lower-back tightness, so his absence from the lineup Saturday isn't overly surprising. However, manager Torey Lovullo said that Marte could be available off the bench if needed. Marte should be considered day-to-day. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:22 pm

    • Adley Rutschman hits three-run homer in blowout loss
Adley Rutschman hit a three-run homer in a blowout loss Saturday to the Athletics.

Advice: The Orioles were able to put up an eight-spot, which is usually more than enough to win a game. Baltimore needed another dozen to win this one. Still, Rutschman makes fantasy managers happy with a three-run shot in the seventh inning to make it a 17-4 lead for Oakland. They all count. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:14 pm
