      Quantrill (6-6) took the loss against the White Sox on Saturday, allowing five runs on seven hits and no walks with eight strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

      Advice: Quantrill opened with four scoreless innings before allowing a two-run home run to Lenyn Sosa in the fifth. He had a rough sixth frame, surrendering a solo homer to Luis Robert and a two-run shot to Paul DeJong before being pulled at 90 pitches. This marked the first time Quantrill went without a walk in a start since May 3, but he was burned by the long ball and has now yielded 11 earned runs over his last three outings.       Cal Quantrill allowed five runs with eight strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the White Sox on Saturday.

      Advice: Quantrill was cruising through four innings, allowing just two baserunners into the fifth. Things unraveled quickly. Lenyn Sosa took him deep for a two-run shot to put the White Sox on the board. Luis Robert Jr. followed with a solo homer to lead off the sixth. Then Paul Delong put Chicago ahead with a two-run blast that would knock Quantrill from the game with one out in the sixth. The 29-year-old right-hander will take a 3.78 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 72/34 K/BB ratio across 95 1/3 innings into a start against the Brewers in Colorado on Thursday.       Gilbert allowed two runs on four hits and struck out three without walking a batter over six innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Gilbert had posted back-to-back starts of eight shutout innings, so this was a small step back. It was an improvement on his previous start versus the Twins, in which he allowed a season-high eight runs over four innings in Minnesota on May 9. Since that start, Gilbert has completed at least six frames in each of his last nine outings, earning eight quality starts in that span. He's at a stellar 2.72 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 102:21 K:BB over 112.1 innings across 17 outings this season. Gilbert's lined up for a tough matchup versus the Orioles in his next projected start.       Logan Gilbert gave up two runs in six innings while not factoring into the decision against the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Gilbert struck out three while allowing just four hits and no walks. The right-hander saw his streak of 21 scoreless innings come to an end when Carlos Correa socked a two-run homer off the right-hander to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead. Outside of that, it was another outstanding effort for the right-hander, and concludes a June that likely will see him win AL Pitcher of the Month.       Taillon (4-4) allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out five and taking a loss against Milwaukee.

      Advice: Taillon worked through three shutout frames before coughing up a grand slam to Jackson Chourio in the fourth inning. Taillon is now 1-2 over his last four starts despite registering a 2.16 ERA during that stretch. He's given up three or fewer earned runs in all but one of his 13 starts this season.       Advice: Taillon managed to record a fourth straight quality start tonight, though only barely. Unfortunately, he’s won just one of those four outings and has no other victories since May 4.       Advice: Burnes will likely be away for the remainder of the series against the Rangers as he welcomes a new addition to the family.       Burnes (9-3) earned the victory over Texas on Thursday, allowing one run on nine hits and no walks while striking out five batters over seven innings.

      Advice: The Orioles were up 3-0 after one inning and 6-0 after three, so Burnes didn't face much pressure in the outing. The right-hander did tie a season-worst mark in allowing nine hits, but only one of those -- a fourth-inning Adolis Garcia solo homer -- went for extra bases. Burnes recorded a quality start after snapping a 10-game streak of such performances in his previous outing. He's tied for the MLB lead in that category with 13 on the campaign and has posted excellent numbers in his first season as an Oriole with a 2.28 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 99:24 K:BB over 106.2 innings.
