The catcher is up to a .205/.259/.439 slash line with 15 homers, 41 RBI, 26 runs scored and three stolen bases over 266 plate appearances this season, with three of his homers and 12 of his RBI coming over 20 contests in June.       Shea Langeliers homered and stole a base in the Athletics’ 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

      Advice: Langeliers isn’t exactly known for his speed, but he was able to procure his third steal of the season. The power is a little more readily apparent, and he hit one of three homers in the ninth inning for the A’s to give him 15 on the year and Oakland an 8-4 lead.       Gilbert allowed two runs on four hits and struck out three without walking a batter over six innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Gilbert had posted back-to-back starts of eight shutout innings, so this was a small step back. It was an improvement on his previous start versus the Twins, in which he allowed a season-high eight runs over four innings in Minnesota on May 9. Since that start, Gilbert has completed at least six frames in each of his last nine outings, earning eight quality starts in that span. He's at a stellar 2.72 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 102:21 K:BB over 112.1 innings across 17 outings this season. Gilbert's lined up for a tough matchup versus the Orioles in his next projected start.       Brenton Doyle went 2-for-4 with a homer and a steal versus the White Sox on Friday.

      Advice: Doyle came into the night batting .235/.258/.284 in June and was one more bad game away seeing his OPS drop below .700, so this helps a bunch. He still shouldn’t be batting at the top of the Rockies order right now, but for as long it continues, he’ll be worth playing in mixed leagues, especially when the Rockies are at home.       Soto went 2-for-4 with a walk, a three-run home run and three total runs scored in Friday's 16-5 rout of the Blue Jays.

      Advice: The 25-year-old outfielder took Yusei Kikuchi deep in the sixth inning, giving the Yankees their first lead of the game before the floodgates opened late. The long ball was Soto's 20th of the season, and he has 60 RBI through 81 games -- only Aaron Judge (79) and Jose Ramirez (73) have driven in more runs in the American League so far this year.       Logan Gilbert gave up two runs in six innings while not factoring into the decision against the Twins on Friday.

      Advice: Gilbert struck out three while allowing just four hits and no walks. The right-hander saw his streak of 21 scoreless innings come to an end when Carlos Correa socked a two-run homer off the right-hander to give Minnesota a 2-1 lead. Outside of that, it was another outstanding effort for the right-hander, and concludes a June that likely will see him win AL Pitcher of the Month.       Doyle went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a steal in Friday's 5-3 loss to the White Sox.

      Advice: The 26-year-old gave Colorado a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning when a launched a 426-foot, two-run homer off Drew Thorpe. Doyle later bagged his team-leading 19th stolen base, marking his fifth straight success since last being caught June 5. The Rockies' leadoff hitter hopes this performance spurs a hot streak, as he entered hitting .235 (19-for-81) with just two extra-base hits -- one homer and one double -- across 22 games in June.       Taillon (4-4) allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and a walk over six innings Friday, striking out five and taking a loss against Milwaukee.

      Advice: Taillon worked through three shutout frames before coughing up a grand slam to Jackson Chourio in the fourth inning. Taillon is now 1-2 over his last four starts despite registering a 2.16 ERA during that stretch. He's given up three or fewer earned runs in all but one of his 13 starts this season.
