    • Goes deep Sunday
Profar went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 9-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Profar's first inning blast was the only run the Padres were able to muster up on the afternoon. He's now homered in three of his last four games and has an RBI in four straight. The 31-year-old also has at least a hit in 18 of his last 19 games. Profar is now slashing .315/.408/.498 with 14 homers, 59 RBI, 52 runs and a 46:56 BB:K in 372 plate appearances. • Little run support in loss
Cease (7-8) took the loss Sunday against the Diamondbacks, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out eight over seven innings.

Advice: All three runs scored against Cease came from the long ball. Corbin Carroll opened up the game with a solo home run and then Eugenio Suarez put the Diamondbacks ahead with a two-run blast in the seventh. Cease has now given up four homers over his last two starts and has given up 14 in 14 starts dating back to April 27. He has a 5.11 ERA over that span, though that also comes with an elite 11.7 K/9. For the year, the 28-year-old owns a 4.21 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 128:33 K:BB in 109 innings. He lines up to face Atlanta at home this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 6:16 am
    • Dylan Cease gives up two homers in defeat
Dylan Cease yielded three runs in seven innings Sunday in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The runs came on longballs from two players who had totaled two and six homers while serving as regulars all year long. He’s given up 14 homers in his last 14 starts, resulting in a 5.11 ERA even though he has an impressive 103/22 K/BB ratio in 79 1/3 innings over that span. There’s no reason he can’t bounce back with a big second half, but there’s also no good reason he isn’t already pitching better. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:47 pm
    • Homer among four hits in win
Heim went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, a double, an additional RBI and three total runs scored in Sunday's 13-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Heim tied the game with an RBI single in the fourth inning before adding a solo shot in the sixth. The catcher has gone 15-for-41 (.366) with two homers, four RBI and eight runs scored over his last 12 contests. For the season, he's up to eight homers, 36 RBI, 31 runs scored, one stolen base and a .247/.294/.367 slash line across 296 plate appearances in a starting role. • Heim has four hits, HR in win over Rays
Jonah Heim went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored, and two RBI in a win over the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: The home run was his eighth on the season to go along with 36 RBI. Heim is hitting just .247 on the season but has been hitting better of late, going 15-for-49 (.306) over his last 15 games with two home runs, nine runs scored, and five RBI. It’s not quite the numbers from last season, but it’s enough to be a fringe fantasy contributor in one-catcher leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:34 pm

    • Delivers two more runs
Walker went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Padres.

Advice: Walker provided the game-winning knock with a two-run single in the top of the 10th inning. The scorching hot Walker is 15-for-30 with five home runs over the last seven contests and has knocked in 13 runners over the last six. The surge leaves him with 22 home runs (tied for sixth in MLB) and 64 RBI (seventh in the league). Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:06 am
    • Christian Walker delivers go-ahead hit vs. Padres
Christian Walker went 2-for-5 with a go-ahead two-run single in the 10th inning on Saturday in the Diamondbacks’ extra-inning victory over the Padres.

Advice: Walker put Arizona ahead in the 10th inning with a two-run single off Padres reliever Wandy Peralta. The 33-year-old veteran first baseman has homered five times since June 2 and is batting an absurd .500 (15-for-30) with five round-trippers and 13 RBI over his last seven contests. Simply put, he’s one of the hottest hitters in baseball at the moment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:34 am
    • Brenton Doyle homers again, Rockies edge Royals
Brenton Doyle clubbed a two-run homer on Saturday, leading the Rockies to a 3-1 win over the Royals.

Advice: Doyle’s 408-foot moonshot off Royals starter Seth Lugo in the second-inning was his fourth round-tripper in his last five contests and also gave Colorado an early advantage that they didn’t relinquish. The 26-year-old was already a brilliant defender in center field coming into the year, but he’s made some serious strides at the plate this season with 11 homers and 20 steals already heading into the All-Star break. He’s on fire at the moment, batting a surreal .423 (11-for-26) with four homers, nine RBI and one steal over his last seven contests. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:22 am

    • Homers again Saturday
Langeliers went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and an additional run in a 19-8 victory versus the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Langeliers piled on to a decimation of Baltimore's pitching with a two-run shot to left field in the third inning that gave gave Oakland a 12-0 lead. The backstop had previously notched an RBI single in the second frame. Langeliers has gone deep in two straight contests and in four of his past 10. He leads MLB catchers with 17 long balls on the campaign. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:00 pm
