Farmer is splitting playing time at third base with Jose Miranda with Royce Lewis and Carlos Correa injured.     Lopez went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base Saturday against the Rays.

    Advice: Lopez has at least one hit in six straight starts, and even as the White Sox's primary leadoff hitter, that's translated to only three runs scored. He also managed his first successful stolen base of the season after having been caught on four previous occasions.     Advice: Mateo has seen limited playing time this season, though he could get more looks after Jackson Holliday was sent down to Triple-A Norfolk on Friday. He's unlikely to take a full-time role from Jordan Westburg, Ramon Urias or Cedric Mullins, but Mateo offers utility value and speed while playing primarily versus left-handed pitchers.   • Ryan McMahon clubs two-run homer in loss Saturday
    Ryan McMahon went 1-for-2 and clubbed a two-run homer on Saturday night as the Rockies fell to the Astros in Mexico City.

    Advice: McMahon got the Rockies on the board first in this one, clobbering a mammoth 459-foot (108.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of Ronel Blanco in the first inning. He also drew a walk and struck out in the contest, participating in only the three true outcomes.     India went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Rangers.

    Advice: The 27-year-old slugged a two-run homer off Michael Lorenzen in the seventh inning, giving the Reds what proved to be crucial insurance runs after they'd jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. The long ball was India's first of 2024, and after managing only two multi-hit performances in his first 21 games, he's now racked up six knocks in the last two.   • Emerges from fall uninjured
    Cubs manager Craig Counsell said Morel "is fine" after exiting Saturday's game versus the Red Sox after the seventh inning following a fall in the outfield, CHGO Cubs reports.

    Advice: Morel toppled over left fielder Alexander Canario after making a running catch and landed hard on the ground, banging up his elbows and right hip. He looked to be in some pain and was removed from the game at that point. However, it sounds like he probably would've remained in if the score hadn't been so lopsided.
