• Resting against lefty
Marsh is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: With lefty Joey Lucchesi on the bump for the Mets, the lefty-hitting Marsh will head to the bench Wednesday. Cristian Pache replaces him in left field. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

  • Nabs win Tuesday
Scott (2-4) picked up the win in Tuesday's extra-inning victory over the Tigers, giving up a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out two.

Advice: Rather than being held back for a possible save situation in extra innings on the road, Scott got the call in the ninth with the score tied 0-0 and was able to escape the jam he created. The southpaw hasn't allowed an earned run in 10 straight appearances, but Scott's been far from sharp during that time, posting an 11:7 K:BB in 9.1 innings. That's still an improvement on his early-season performance, and his 2.12 ERA on the year isn't supported by his 1.53 WHIP or 18:17 K:BB in 17 frames. Scott is still the Marlins' closer and has converted four of five save chances, but A.J. Puk got the save in the 10th inning Tuesday and could be a threat to take the job now that he's moved back into the bullpen. Rotowire.com Today, 9:24 am

  • Getting rest in series finale
Garcia is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: The White Sox are bringing southpaw Garrett Crochet to the hill for the series finale, so the Nationals will stock up on some extra right-handed bats. The lefty-hitting Garcia will hit the bench after he went 1-for-8 with a walk while starting at second base in both ends of Tuesday's doubleheader. Trey Lipscomb will fill in for Garcia at the keystone. Rotowire.com Today, 9:23 am
  • Sitting Wednesday with sore hand
Diaz exited Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres with left hand soreness and will be held out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, MLB.com reports. He struck out in his lone plate appearance on the day.

Advice: Diaz exited in the third inning with recurring hand soreness. He's not expected to miss additional time beyond Wednesday's contest, but Jacob Stallings should be behind the dish for Colorado's series finale Wednesday. Rotowire.com Today, 7:43 am

  • Won't start Wednesday
Bassitt won't start Wednesday's game against the Orioles at Camden Yards, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bassitt was slated to start Tuesday in Baltimore before the game was postponed due to inclement weather. Rather than pushing each member of their rotation back a day in the pitching schedule to accommodate the postponement, the Blue Jays will have Yusei Kikuchi take the hill on normal rest Wednesday. As Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca notes, Bassitt has been hit hard by left-handed batters this season, and the lefty Kikuchi may give Toronto a better chance at coming away with a win against a lefty-heavy Baltimore lineup. The Blue Jays haven't announced their rotation plans for this weekend's series with the Rays, but expect Bassitt to start at least one of those games rather than having his turn skipped entirely. • Notches 13th save
Finnegan recorded his 13th save of the season in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the White Sox, giving up two hits and striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Advice: The knocks were the first off the right-hander since April 12, snapping a stretch of 11 straight hitless appearances, but he was able to escape the jam and preserve a 6-3 win by fanning Nicky Lopez. Finnegan hasn't blown a save or been tagged with an earned run since the calendar flipped to April, posting a 0.00 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB over his last 15.2 innings. • Logs steal Tuesday
Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the Angels.

Advice: Goldschmidt has gone 6-for-19 (.316) over the last four games, adding three RBI and three runs scored in that span, though he's also struck out 10 times. Any progress is a positive for the first baseman -- he went 0-for-27 over seven games to begin May. On the year, he's at a .205/.287/.282 slash line with three home runs, 14 RBI, 19 runs scored and two steals through 40 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:38 pm
  • Elias Díaz leaves game with left hand soreness
Elias Díaz was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Padres due to left hand soreness.

Advice: It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but we’ll have to wait and see. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:50 pm

  • Anthony Volpe doubles, drives in one vs. Twins
Anthony Volpe went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Twins.

Advice: Volpe doubled in the second inning to drive home Gleyber Torres, giving the Yankees their second run of the inning and an early 2-1 lead. Volpe pushed his current hitting streak to seven games in this one and is now slashing .265/.333/.469 for the month of May. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:36 pm
