    • Secures extra-inning win
Yates (3-0) earned the win after he pitched two scoreless innings, allowing a walk while striking out two batters in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Royals.

Advice: Yates entered the game in the bottom of the eighth inning with the Rangers trailing 2-1, and he was able to work around a walk to keep it a one-run deficit going into the ninth. After Texas tied it up at 2-2, the right-hander returned for the following frame, setting the Royals down in order. The Rangers went on to win in the 10th inning, earning Yates his third victory of the year. The 37-year-old has yet to allow an earned run this season while posting a 0.50 WHIP with five saves over 14 innings in 12 appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:14 pm

    • Reaches double digits in saves
Clase picked up the save Sunday against the Angels, striking out two over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Clase made quick work of Willie Calhoun, Brandon Drury and Matt Thaiss on Sunday, needing just 10 pitches to retire the side and pick up his 10th save of the campaign. Clase is one of five closers in double figures in the saves category and has walked just one batter across 17.1 innings of action. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:07 pm

    • Jose Caballero steals four bases with no hits
Jose Caballero stole four bases and scored three runs without recording a hit Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Only against the Mets. Caballero walked three times today and also got a steal as the automatic runner in the 10th inning. He’s just the second player this millennium to steal four bases without getting a hit; Everth Cabrera did so for the Padres in 2012. Caballero leads the AL with 13 steals in 18 tries this season. • Nestor Cortes fans nine in no-decision on Sunday
Nestor Cortes looked sharp in a no-decision against the Tigers on Sunday, giving up two runs on just three hits over 6 1/3 innings of work.

Advice: The crafty 29-year-old southpaw piled up nine strikeouts on a rainy afternoon in the Bronx while allowing just one base on balls. He kept the Tigers off the board completely through the first six innings, but he allowed a pair of singles before departing in the seventh — and both runners came around to score against the Yankees’ bullpen. Cortes got 13 whiffs on 97 pitches on the day, registering a strong CSW of 33 percent. He’ll attempt to get back in the win column as he carries a 3.72 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and a 46/8 K/BB ratio (48 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Rays in Tampa Bay. • Cal Raleigh hits go-ahead homer in Mariners’ win
Cal Raleigh hit a tiebreaking homer in the top of the ninth Sunday as the Mariners edged the Astros 5-4.

Advice: Two big homers in two days for Raleigh, who now has eight longballs on the season. He’s actually just 3-for-35 at the plate in his last 10 games, but he’s making those hits count. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:01 pm
    • Ready to go Sunday
Bohm (hip) is starting at third base and batting fifth Sunday against the Giants, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: The 27-year-old was removed from Saturday's contest due to right hip tightness but is back in the starting nine a day later. Bohm has been one of the best hitters in baseball through the first five weeks of the season with a .364/.435/.579 slash line in 34 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:11 pm

    • Nick Pivetta (elbow) expected to start Wednesday
Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters that Nick Pivetta (elbow) is expected to come off the injured list to start Wednesday against Atlanta.

Advice: That’s a tough return, but it’s also welcome news for fantasy managers who are waiting for Pivetta to come off the shelf. The right-hander was able to throw 62 pitches in his rehab start Thursday for Triple-A Worcester, so he should be stretched out for five-plus innings in that outing. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:00 pm

    • Looks set to return Wednesday
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Pivetta (elbow) is expected to be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday's game in Atlanta, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: Cora stopped short of confirming Pivetta for Wednesday, as the right-hander presumably needs to check out fine following a bullpen session Sunday or Monday before the Red Sox formally clear him to rejoin the rotation. Pivetta, who has been on the shelf since April 9 with a right elbow flexor strain, made a rehab start with Triple-A Worcester on Thursday and gave up four earned runs on three hits and four walks while striking out five across three innings. Despite the less-than-stellar results, the Red Sox were apparently encouraged by how Pivetta felt physically in the outing and are eager to bring him back into the big-league rotation this week. • Receiving breather Sunday
O'Neill is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: O'Neill started the previous eight games and will receive a day off after he posted a .924 OPS and 36.1 percent strikeout rate during that span. Rob Refsnyder will man left field against Minnesota righty Joe Ryan. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:13 am
