The 29-year-old shortstop is officially day-to-day with a right wrist contusion. It’s still possible he could wind up requiring a trip to the injured list in a few days, if the pain and swelling don’t subside.       Advice: Correa was visibly in a lot of pain after getting hit by a 94-mph sinker during the seventh inning, and he immediately made his way into the Twins' dugout while holding his right arm.       Carlos Correa left Thursday’s game against the Diamondbacks after being hit by a pitch on the right forearm.

      Advice: This one didn’t look good at all. Correa took a 94-mph fastball off his right forearm during the seventh inning of Thursday’s blowout in Arizona. He immediately left the contest shaking his head and holding that arm in a great deal of pain. The 29-year-old shortstop will head for additional evaluation and X-rays to determine the extent of the damage.       Castro went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over Arizona while also being hit by a pitch.

      Advice: Castro was hit by a pitch in his second at-bat and responded with a leadoff double on the first pitch in his next trip to the plate, before then coming home on a double from Trevor Larnach. The utility man would add a two-run homer in the fifth to increase Minnesota's lead to seven runs, giving him two homers over his last five games. Castro has also hit safely in nine straight, posting multiple hits in five of those contests. He's batting .405 (15-for-37) over that stretch with eight RBI and nine runs scored. Castro then took Brandon Hughes deep for a two-run homer in the fifth to extend the Twins lead.       Advice: Dubón is a fantastic utilityman, but an everyday first baseman or left fielder he’s not and that’s rather how the Astros have been treating him lately. He’s hit .250/.276/.361 in 77 plate appearances this month, and it’d be for the best if he plays less once Kyle Tucker rejoins the Houston outfield.       Advice: De La Cruz scored a run after singling in the fourth inning before knocking an RBI double and scoring again in the fifth. He capped off his day with a two-run shot in the sixth.       Advice: De La Cruz served as Cincinnati’s primary offensive catalyst on Monday night at Great American Ball Park with a three-hit performance that included a pair of batted balls with exit velocities over 110 mph, including an impressive 439-foot moonshot -- his 14th round-tripper of the season -- off Pirates reliever Daulton Jefferies in the sixth inning. He also scalded a 110-mph double to right field off Pittsburgh starter Bailey Falter, which brought home a run earlier in the contest.
