      Advice: While Keith is batting just .214 overall, he's been better in May with a .350 batting average across 14 games. It's a promising development for the rookie, who batted .306 across two levels in the minors last season. It can take young players some time to translate minor-league production into MLB success, but it seems like Keith is starting to turn the corner, and he has the talent to finish his debut campaign on a high note.       Michael Massey went 3-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and two runs scored against the Tigers on Monday.



      Advice: Massey started the scoring with a home run in the bottom of the second and later doubled, but his most impactful hit of the night was likely his 101 mph line drive single that hit Tigers starter Reese Olson in the hip and knocked him out of the game. The home run was Massey’s fifth of the year. He’s off to a really nice start as he’s hitting .284 with an .805 OPS and has 19 RBI in 27 games this season.

      X-rays on Ortiz's right foot came back negative following Monday's game against Miami, Paige Leckie of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: There’s always the chance that X-rays taken right after the incident fail to pick something up, but hopefully, this means Ortiz will be fine to play again in a day or two.       Ortiz is getting X-rays on his right foot after being hit by a pitch in the fourth inning Monday against the Marlins, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

      Advice: Ortiz was able to finish out the game, but it was still bothering him in the clubhouse after the loss, and skipper Pat Murphy noted that the injury may be more serious than initially thought, per Paige Leckie of MLB.com. Andruw Monasterio put together a multi-hit evening and could be in line for more looks at the hot corner if Ortiz requires a trip to the injured list.
