    • Junior Caminero playing 2B on Tuesday at Triple-A
Rays top prospect Junior Caminero is playing second base on Tuesday for Triple-A Durham.

Advice: It’s a significant development for fantasy purposes as it could expedite Caminero’s return to the majors and open up additional avenues to get his bat in the lineup everyday. The 20-year-old, who entered Tuesday night batting .304 with six homers and one steal in 103 plate appearances over 23 contests this season for Triple-A Durham, hasn’t made an appearance at the keystone since back in 2022. It might also shed some light on Brandon Lowe’s status after he was lifted from a rehab contest earlier this week for precautionary reasons due to oblique discomfort. The Rays are currently rolling with Richie Palacios at second base in the majors right now. It feels like only a matter of time before Caminero is back in Tampa Bay. Rotoworld Today, 5:01 pm

    • Bryan Ramos day-to-day with quad tightness
Bryan Ramos is day-to-day with left quad tightness.

Advice: White Sox manager Pedro Grifol confirmed that Ramos suffered the injury while going first-to-third in the fifth inning of the opening contest of Tuesday’s doubleheader against the Nationals. The 22-year-old rookie has been phenomenal for Chicago since being called up earlier this month, so the hope here is that he won’t require a lengthy absence. Rotoworld Today, 4:51 pm

    • Trey Lipscomb steals three bases in Nats’ win
Trey Lipscomb went 3-for-3 with an RBI and three stolen bases in the Nationals’ win over the White Sox in the opening game of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: The unheralded 23-year-old rookie ran wild in the opening contest of Tuesday’s twin bill and is already up to 10 thefts this season in just 31 contests. He doesn’t offer enough over-the-fence pop to generate interest in shallow mixers, but the speed is going to make him a factor in deeper mixed leagues going forward, especially if he’s playing everyday for Washington. • Taking seat Tuesday
Harris is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Houston, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Harris started all 11 games at third base since being promoted by Oakland on May 3, and he'll receive a day off after he posted a .147/.333/.412 slash line. Abraham Toro will man the hot corner while Zack Gelof (oblique) returns from the injured list to start at second base. Rotowire.com Today, 4:13 pm
    • Idle Tuesday
Steer isn't in the Reds' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Steer will catch a breather Tuesday after extending his hitting streak to five games while also driving in two runs during Monday's loss. Jacob Hurtubise will get the nod to start in left field and bat ninth while Steer rests. Rotowire.com Today, 4:06 pm

    • Exits with quad injury
Ramos was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Nationals due to left quad tightness.

Advice: Ramos may have tweaked his quad while running from first to third base during the fifth inning, leading to his eventual removal in the seventh. The severity of his injury isn't immediately clear, though the White Sox may provide more details following Tuesday's twin bill. Rotowire.com Today, 3:34 pm

    • Bryan Ramos leaves game with quad tightness
Bryan Ramos was removed from the first game of Tuesday’s doubleheader against the Nationals due to left quad tightness.

Advice: Not good. Ramos has been one of the few bright spots for Chicago of late. The 22-year-old came out of the contest, after going 1-for-2 with a run scored, a couple frames after going first-to-third back in the fifth inning. There should be an additional update on his status following the twin bill. Rotoworld Today, 3:33 pm

    • Spencer Steer getting rare day off on Tuesday
Spencer Steer is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: It’s a rare off day for Steer, who has started to heat up at the dish recently with at least one hit in each of his last five contests, raising his batting average nearly 20 points from .234 to .248 in the process. Rotoworld Today, 3:29 pm

    • Promotion imminent
The Mets will recall Vientos from Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Vientos has slashed .233/.343/.400 across 35 plate appearances since being sent down to Triple-A on April 30, and he will now return to New York -- presumably forming a platoon at third base with Brett Baty. Vientos went 3-for-7 with a two-run homer during his first stint in the majors. Rotowire.com Today, 3:26 pm
