    • Homer, three RBI in win
Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with a double, a homer, three RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Angels.

Advice: Pasquantino jumped on a hanging four-seamer with two outs in the top of the third and crushed it into the stands for his fifth home run of the season, and his first this month. The first baseman would also add a sacrifice fly in the contest, marking the third time in his last five games in which he's tallied multiple RBI. Pasquantino is on an absolute tear right now, registering three multi-hit games in a row, with at least one extra-base hit in each of those performances. He's now batting .429 in May with 11 RBI, six runs scored and six extra-base hits. Rotowire.com Today, 6:34 am
    • Three hits in win
Yelich went 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored in Thursday's win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Yelich singled in his first at-bat before coming home on a Rhys Hoskins home run as the Brewers took an early 3-0 lead. The outfielder would then add an RBI triple in the fifth to extend Milwaukee's lead and finished the game with three hits for only the second time this season. Yelich had gone hitless in his first game back from the injured list but he's actually hit safely in 11 of his 13 games overall this season. He's also driven in at least one run in four of his last six contests. Rotowire.com Today, 4:11 am

    • Goes deep in loss
Volpe went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Astros on Thursday.

Advice: Volpe accounted for New York's first scores with a two-run blast to right field in the third inning. It was his second homer in his past three contests following a 25-game stretch during which he went deep just once. Volpe is still batting just .200 through eight games in May, but he's held onto the leadoff spot, batting first in the order in all of the Yankees' contests so far this month. • Christian Yelich posts three hits, RBI in blowout
Christian Yelich went 3-for-4 with an RBI on Thursday, lifting the Brewers to a 7-1 blowout victory over the division-rival Cardinals.

Advice: Yelich shook off Wednesday’s tough 0-for-5 performance in his return from the injured list against the Royals with a stellar three-hit performance in his return to American Family Field. The 32-year-old corner outfielder padded Milwaukee’s lead with a run-scoring triple in the fifth inning as part of a three-hit effort that raised his full-season batting average to a sublime .333 (16-for-48) mark through 13 games. If he can avoid the back issues that have plagued him the last few years, he’ll remain an impact contributor for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:26 pm

    • Anthony Volpe crushes two-run homer in loss
Anthony Volpe went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer on Thursday in the Yankees’ loss to the Astros.

Advice: Volpe connected for a two-run opposite-field shot into the right-field corner off Astros starter Ronel Blanco in the third inning. It was his fifth round-tripper of the season and second time he’s left the yard in his last three contests. The 23-year-old shortstop has made an effort to flatten his swing and employ an all-fields approach this season, but is still hitting for some over-the-fence pop, while also significantly improving his batting average. • Guardians transfer Gavin Williams to 60-day IL
Guardians transferred RHP Gavin Williams to the 60-day injured list.

Advice: Nothing has changed with Williams from a return timetable standpoint as the procedural move merely clears up a spot on Cleveland’s 40-man roster for newly-acquired reliever Darren McCaughan. The 24-year-old righty has been on the shelf since spring training due to right elbow inflammation, but was able to resume a throwing program last week following a brief setback. There’s a chance he’s ready to return at some point next month. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:53 am

    • Shifted to 60-day IL
The Guardians transferred Williams (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Thursday.

Advice: The move clears a spot on the team's 40-man roster for the addition of Darren McCaughan. Williams resumed a throwing program a week ago after a brief shutdown period following a setback with his right elbow. It was going to take him a while to get ramped back up anyway, though, so this transaction shouldn't alter his timetable. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:43 am

    • Set to return Saturday
Javier (neck) will return from the 15-day injured list to start Saturday in Detroit, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Javier will have gone nearly a month in between starts for the Astros when he toes the rubber Saturday, having been sidelined with a neck problem. He's ready to roll now, following one rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi in which he allowed three runs over 3.1 frames. Javier threw just 68 pitches in the outing, so he could be somewhat limited from a workload perspective against the Tigers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:43 am

    • Dominates old team
Sale (5-1) earned the win over the Red Sox on Wednesday, hurling six shutout innings while allowing six hits and one walk. He struck out 10.

Advice: Sale allowed at least one hit in each of his first five innings of work but was consistently able to work his way through it without sustaining any damage. He logged just one 1-2-3 inning, which came in the sixth, while fanning a season-high 10 batters on the night. The veteran lefty has now logged quality starts in three of his last four outings and hasn't produced fewer than six strikeouts in any of his seven starts this season. He's also won each of his last four starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:34 am
