      Anthony Volpe went 1-for-4 with a double on Saturday in the Yankees’ win over the Giants.

      Advice: Volpe’s 21-game hitting streak came to an end during Thursday’s series finale against the Angels when he went 0-for-5, but he’s reached base safely in 28 consecutive contests since May 2, which puts him in a tie with teammate Aaron Judge for the longest active streak in the game. The 23-year-old is excelling at the dish in the wake of last offseason’s offensive overhaul to his swing and approach.       Raley went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk against the Angels in Saturday's 9-0 victory.

      Advice: Raley built Seattle's lead to six runs with his solo shot in the sixth inning. He recently dealt with a lat injury, but the issue turned out to be minor, as Raley has started each of the Mariners' past two games.       Valdez (4-3) earned the win over Minnesota on Saturday, allowing one run on two hits and two walks while striking out four batters over seven innings.

      Advice: Valdez needed a modest 85 pitches to get through seven frames before turning the game over to the bullpen. He notched his second straight quality start and fourth over his past five contests. Overall, Valdez has given up three or fewer earned runs in seven of his nine starts on the campaign.       Advice: Pasquantino twice gave the Royals a lead, first with a first-inning homer and then with an RBI single in the third, but that was the extent of the team's run production. The first baseman is heating up with three straight multi-hit efforts. He's gone 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits and six RBI in that span after batting just .148 with no multi-hit performances over a 16-game stretch.       Advice: Vientos hit a solo homer off Slade Cecconi in the fifth inning then singled and scored a run in the ninth. After posting three hits Friday, Vientos followed it up with another multi-hit effort that included his third home run in his past eight games. With Brett Baty being optioned to Triple-A Syracuse, it appears Vientos will have a chance to stake his claim at third base for the Mets.       Framber Valdez gave up just one hit on two runs while working seven innings to get a win Saturday against the Twins.

      Advice: Valdez did issue two walks, but he was able to keep the self-inflicted damage to a low roar while striking out four. The southpaw has gone seven innings in three of his last five starts, and he hasn’t allowed more than two runs in any of those outings.       Vinnie Pasquantino homered and drove in three runs in a loss for the Royals to the Padres on Saturday.

      Advice: Pasquantino hit a two-run shot off Randy Vasquez in the first inning to give Kansas City a 2-1 lead, and he gave the Royals another lead with an RBI single two innings later. The 26-year-old has driven home 39 runs over KC’s 60 games, and the homer was his seventh. The .242 average leaves a bit to be desired, but Pasquantino is capable of helping in several categories with his left-handed bat, as evidenced by this showing Saturday.       Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with a home run against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

      Advice: Vientos crossed home plate for two of the Mets’ five runs on Saturday, starting with a solo blast off Slade Cecconi to lead off the fifth inning. He led off the ninth with an infield hit and scored on a groundout. The 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .340/.386/.642 with four homers and nine RBI across 57 plate appearances.
