    • Jason Foley takes blown save in eighth inning
Jason Foley took a blown save after giving up three runs in the eighth Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Foley was called into a 9-6 game with two on and one out in the eighth. He quickly retired Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who had four hits on the day, but he went on to five up a two-run single to Bo Bichette, and after it looked like he might escape from there, he surrendered a three-run homer on an 0-2 pitch to Daulton Varsho. Foley’s stuff has declined since the beginning of the year, though this is just the second time it’s cost him. If he’s still the favorite for saves in Detroit for now, he’s definitely encouraged A.J. Hinch to ramp up the mixing and matching. At this point, no one else in the Tigers pen stands out enough to warrant a pickup in shallow leagues. Rotoworld May 26, 12:27 pm

    • Picks up fourth save
Sewald earned the save in a win over the Marlins on Saturday, striking out one over a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald had no issues running through the bottom of Miami's lineup to secure the save, needing just nine pitches to get the job done. The right-handed reliever remains perfect on the season in save opportunities and hasn't allowed a run since his first relief appearance back on May 7 (spanning six appearances). Sewald has also recorded at least one strikeout in three straight outings. Rotowire.com May 26, 7:26 am
    • Sewald records four save against Marlins Saturday
Paul Sewald tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Sewald has allowed one run with seven strikeouts and one walk in seven appearances and converted all four of his save opportunities since coming off the injured list. Fantasy managers that held Sewald since the beginning of the year can’t ask for much more than what they’re getting right now. Rotoworld May 25, 10:17 pm
    • Snags win Saturday
McArthur (2-2) allowed an unearned run on one hit over two innings, earning the extra-innings win over the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: McArthur gave up a two-out RBI double in the 10th inning that tied the game at 4-4, but the Royals took the lead for good in the 11th. May hasn't been an easy month for McArthur, who has given up eight runs (six earned) over 10 innings while converting four of his six save chances. He's at a 3.80 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 23:3 K:BB over 23.2 innings while adding 11 saves in 14 chances and one hold. McArthur's role as the Royals' primary closer isn't in doubt yet, but it's possible Carlos Hernandez will be a factor in the late innings eventually after recovering from a shoulder injury that kept him out for the first two months of the campaign. • Picks up 11th save
Foley set down the lone batter he faced to pick up the save in Friday's 6-2 win over Toronto.

Advice: Andrew Chafin recorded the first two outs in the ninth inning before allowing four consecutive base hits, allowing the Blue Jays to get the tying run to the plate. However, Foley would come on in relief to set down Danny Jansen for the final out, earning his 11th save this season. Foley's ERA is down to 2.41 on the year with a 1.34 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB across 18.2 innings. Rotowire.com May 24, 10:57 pm
