    • Notches fifth save
Paul Sewald picked up the save Sunday against the Mets, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald has been nigh unhittable lately, allowing just one baserunner over his past six appearances. The 34-year-old veteran has not allowed an earned run since his season debut back on May 7 and he is now a perfect five-for-five in save opportunities with a microscopic 1.08 ERA and 0.48 WHIP in 8.1 innings. • Works into seventh
Bello did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing four runs on eight hits and three walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bello cruised through the first four in allowing only two baserunners and finished the sixth inning in line for a quality start and the win. For the first time all year, Bello was called upon to go back out for the seventh, but after recording one out, he allowed the next two runners to reach base prior to being pulled, with both runners eventually coming around to score, adversely impacting his final line. It was only the second time this year that Bello has not been involved in the decision. His next opportunity to take the hill will likely come next weekend when Boston travels to Chicago to take on the White Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:06 pm
    • Ryan McMahon reaches three times in loss
Ryan McMahon singled and drew a pair of walks as the Rockies were shut out by Gavin Stone and a host of Dodgers’ relievers on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.

Advice: As a team, the Rockies totaled just five hits in the contest, with only one of them (a double by Charlie Blackmon) going for extra bases. McMahon continues to have a terrific season in the middle of the Rockies’ lineup — slashing .284/.371/.470 with 10 homers and 34 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:12 pm

    • Luke Raley homers again as Mariners defeat Angels
Luke Raley homered for the second consecutive day on Sunday, powering the Mariners to a 5-1 victory over the Angels in Seattle.

Advice: Raley opened the scoring in this one with his 354-foot (110.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Griffin Canning in the fourth inning. The 29-year-old outfielder was also plunked twice in the ballgame — once with the bases loaded to drive in a run in the eighth inning. He then came around to score on Mitch Garver’s three-run double. On the season, he’s hitting a respectable .265/.315/.441 with six homers and 15 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:47 pm

    • Homers again in win
Raley went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two total runs scored in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Angels.

Advice: Raley opened the scoring with a solo shot in the fourth inning and added his second RBI in the eighth when he was plunked with the bases loaded. Prior to a one-game absence with a lat issue, he went 1-for-19, but he's gone 3-for-9 with two homers, a double and three RBI over his last three contests. The outfielder is up to a steady .265/.315/.441 slash line with six long balls, 15 RBI, 20 runs scored and five stolen bases over 146 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:43 pm

    • Battles through quality start
Littell did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on 11 hits and one walk over six innings against the Orioles. He struck out two.

Advice: Littell's day started by allowing a leadoff homer to Gunnar Henderson, but he somehow managed to keep the Rays in the game despite walking the tight rope throughout most of his six-inning effort. In total, Littell scattered a season-high 11 hits and 12 total baserunners while accumulating a season-low two strikeouts. Despite facing at least five Orioles batters in four of his six innings completed, Littell managed to walk away with a quality start, and his gritty performance kept the door open for the Rays to pull off the comeback win. Littell will look to make things a bit easier on himself during his next start, tentatively slated to take place against these same Orioles next weekend when the O's return the favor and make the trip to Tampa. • Bat remains hot
Bregman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Twins.

Advice: Bregman is starting to heat up, collecting his fourth homer in six games along with adding his fifth multi-hit effort over the last eight. Sunday's performance lifted Bregman's slash line to .229/.287/.395 while during this recent eight-game run he's batting 12-for-32 (.375) with four homers, seven RBI and five runs scored. • Brayan Bello falters late in no-decision
Brayan Bello was charged with four runs in 6 1/3 innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: This one is on Alex Cora, who sent Bello back out for the seventh to face the top of the lineup for a fourth time even though he had given up runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Bello surrendered hits to two of the three batters he faced before being pulled, and Justin Slaten allowed both runners to score afterwards. Bello remains 6-2 with a 4.36 ERA. • Zack Littell gives up 11 hits to Orioles
Zack Littell allowed three runs and 11 hits over six innings Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: It was a rather odd game in Baltimore, in that there were 28 hits and just seven runs. The Orioles outhit the Rays 15-13, outwalked them 2-1 and had three hits with RISP to the Rays’ one, yet the Rays, who were also 0-for-2 stealing bases, ended up winning 4-3. Littell allowed three runs or fewer for the 10th time in 12 starts, even though his hits total topped his previous season high by two. He definitely deserves better than a 2-3 record for his 3.56 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm
