      Brett Baty launched a two-run homer on Thursday for Triple-A Syracuse.

      Advice: Baty went deep for the second consecutive contest and is up to five round-trippers in just 11 games since June 1. The 24-year-old former top prospect is batting .370 (17-for-46).       Mullins went 2-for-6 with a double, a two-run homer and three runs scored in Thursday's win over the Yankees.

      Advice: Mullins capitalized on a hanging slider from Luis Gil in the top of the second and sent it into the stands in right field for a two-run shot, giving the Orioles an early 3-1 lead. The outfielder would then add a double in the ninth before coming around to score for a third time, giving him back-to-back multi-hit games.       Sewald allowed one hit and struck out one during a scoreless ninth to collect the save Thursday against the Nationals.

      Advice: Sewald collected his first save in two weeks, having tossed just 1.1 innings over two appearances during that span prior to Thursday. Despite the inactivity, Sewald needed only eight pitches, tossing six for strikes to thwart the Nationals.       Ryan McMahon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Dodgers on Thursday.

      Advice: The home run was McMahon’s 13th of the year. It was McMahon’s third game in a row with at least two hits.       Alex Bregman went 3-for-5 in a win over the White Sox on Thursday.

      Advice: All three hits for Bregman were singles. He also scored a run, and continues to look considerably better at the plate in the month of June. The 30-year-old entered the month with a .662 OPS, but he’s hit .322/.394/.492 since. That’ll play. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:04 pm
       
    • CJ Abrams day-to-day after MRI on left wrist
      CJ Abrams is day-to-day after an MRI this week revealed a Ganglion cyst on his left palm near his wrist.

      Advice: Nationals manager Dave Martinez told reporters Thursday that it isn’t a serious concern. We’re not medical professionals, but a Ganglion cyst is basically a non-cancerous lump that appears along the joints of the wrists or hands. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward as the issue mighty simply go away on its own, but it’s something Abrams will have to manage going forward.     • Day-to-day following MRI on wrist
      Abrams is considered day-to-day after an MRI revealed a ganglion cyst on his left wrist, Spencer Nusbaum of The Washington Post reports.

      Advice: A ganglion cyst is a noncancerous lump which is commonly found on the tendons or joints of the wrists and hands. While the cyst has caused Abrams some discomfort, it's something that will often clear on its own. The shortstop could be back in the lineup this weekend in Colorado.       Paul Sewald allowed a hit and picked up a strikeout in a scoreless inning to get a save against the Nationals on Thursday.

      Advice: Sewald has been sensational since returning from the injured list, and the scoreless inning lowers his ERA to a miniscule 0.71.       Volpe went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs Wednesday in an extra-inning loss to Baltimore.

      Advice: Volpe set the table well out of the leadoff spot, reaching base four times and notching his sixth effort of at least three hits this season. The second-year shortstop came up with a clutch hit in the ninth inning, doubling to left field and later coming home to score the game-tying run on a Giancarlo Stanton single.
