    • Homers twice in win
Siri went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in a 3-1 win over the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: Siri led off the second inning with a home run off Mitchell Parker, walked in the fourth and then opened the sixth with another long ball off Jacob Barnes. The outfielder now has eight multi-hit efforts and six home runs in June, though he has not stolen any bases in the month. On the season, Siri is hitting .219 with 11 home runs, 29 RBI, 36 runs scored and seven steals in 246 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago

    • CJ Abrams (hand) checks out fine after HBP Friday
CJ Abrams checked out fine after being hit in the left hand/wrist area by a pitch during Friday’s loss to the Rays.

Advice: Abrams stayed in for the duration of the game, but had X-rays done afterwards just to be on the safe side and they came back negative for any fractures. He should be in his customary leadoff spot in the Nationals’ lineup once again on Saturday. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • Colton Cowser homers for Orioles
Colton Cowser went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Friday against the Rangers.

Advice: Cowser’s home run was smoked at 110 MPH and he hit fifth in this game, the highest he’s hit in Baltimore’s lineup since May 29th. His playing time was thought to be in danger with Heston Kjerstad’s promotion earlier this week. He and Kjerstad started three times in five games this week making this platoon a headache for managers in weekly leagues. Rotoworld Today, 6:43 pm

    • Jose Siri homers twice to power Rays past Nats
Jose Siri crushed a pair of solo home runs on Friday night, powering the Rays to a 3-1 victory over the Nationals.

Advice: Siri opened the scoring in the contest in the second inning when he crushed a 405-foot (108.6 mph EV) leadoff homer off of Mitchell Parker. He then increased the Rays’ advantage with a 428-foot (107.1 mph EV) solo blast off of Jacob Barnes to start the sixth inning that made it a 3-0 ballgame. The dynamic 28-year-old outfielder also worked a walk in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-3. He’s now slashing .219/.300/.423 with 11 homers, 29 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. • Luke Raley (shoulder) remains out of lineup Friday
Luke Raley (shoulder) remains out of the Mariners’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Twins.

Advice: Raley will miss his second straight game due to soreness in his shoulder. The good news, is that an MRI revealed no structural damage and the 29-year-old outfielder is expected to be available off the Mariners’ bench on Friday. He should be considered day-to-day. • Swing test pushed back
Jung (wrist) will have his swing test pushed back to Saturday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Jung was slated to swing a bat Friday, but he'll have that evaluation pushed back a day. He has been on the injured list since April 2 with a fractured right wrist, and his rehab program with Triple-A Round Rock was shut down due to tendon inflammation. Jung could be activated off the injured list soon if his swing test Saturday goes well, though he'll likely be eased back into the action with planned off days if he does return. • On bench again
Raley (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Raley was scratched from Wednesday's game with shoulder soreness and, despite Thursday's team off day, he'll remain out of the starting nine for the series opener against Minnesota. Up to this point, all indications are that the injury isn't of concern. Dominic Canzone, Julio Rodriguez and Mitch Haniger fill the outfield Friday. Rotowire.com Today, 2:31 pm

    • Heston Kjerstad not in Orioles lineup on Friday
Heston Kjerstad is not in the Orioles’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Rangers.

Advice: The 25-year-old slugger went 2-for-3 with a homer, walk, two runs scored and three RBI on Thursday night, so his reward appears to be a spot next to Orioles’ skipper Brandon Hyde on the bench on Friday night. Colton Cowser will start in his place in left field and bat fifth against Max Scherzer and the Rangers on Friday evening in Baltimore. Rotoworld Today, 1:34 pm

    • Taking seat Friday
Kjerstad is absent from the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Kjerstad clubbed his first home run of the season in Thursday's win over the Rangers in what was his third straight start against a right-hander. However, he will begin this one on the bench as Texas goes with righty Max Scherzer. Colton Cowser will occupy left field for the Orioles. Rotowire.com Today, 1:28 pm
