    • Aaron Judge (hand) not in Yankees lineup Wednesday
Aaron Judge (hand) is not in the Yankees’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s showdown against the Orioles.

Advice: The 32-year-old superstar took a pitch off of his left hand during Tuesday’s game, but fortunately X-rays and a CT scan came back negative for any structural damage. Judge reported feeling sore on Wednesday but was able to take some swings in the batting cage. He won’t require a trip to the injured list and should return to the Bombers’ lineup any day now. • Not in Wednesday's lineup
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that Judge (hand) won't be in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Orioles, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Advice: X-rays and a CT scan on Judge's left hand came back negative after he exited Tuesday's 4-2 win over Baltimore when he was hit by pitch. According to Meredith Marakovits of YES Network, Boone said that Judge took some swings in the batting cage Wednesday and is expected to avoid a trip to the injured list, but the slugger is still sore and will miss at least one start. Judge likely won't be available off the bench Wednesday, but the hope is he'll be able to return to action for Thursday's series finale. Trent Grisham will replace Judge in center field Wednesday. • Sits versus lefty
Pederson is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Nationals.

Advice: Pederson's only start against a lefty this season came earlier this month versus a left-handed opener in the Giants' Erik Miller. With the Nationals sending southpaw Patrick Corbin to the bump Wednesday, Pederson will take a seat while Eugenio Suarez serves as Arizona's designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 8:53 am
    • Jazz Chisholm Jr. scratched with tight hamstring
Jazz Chisholm Jr. was scratched from Wednesday’s lineup because of right hamstring tightness.

Advice: He’s supposed to be available off the bench, but the Marlins changed their minds about starting him at DH. It’s just the third time this season that he’s been out of the starting lineup and the first time due to injury. Vidal Bruján is playing center field today after his game-winning hit last night. • Scratched with tight hamstring
Chisholm was scratched from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Cardinals due to right hamstring tightness, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The Marlins are labeling the move as precautionary, and Chisholm will be available off the bench, if needed. Chisholm will hope to return to the lineup Friday against the Mariners following the team's off day Thursday. Vidal Brujan will cover center field Wednesday while Chisholm exits the lineup. • Jarred Kelenic leads off for Braves versus lefty
Even though the team is facing left-hander Tarik Skubal, Jarred Kelenic remains in the leadoff spot for the Braves on Wednesday.

Advice: For better or worse, Brian Snitker loves his set lineups. Kelenic has a .231 OBP in just 26 plate appearances versus lefties this season. He’s hit .193/.253/.307 lifetime against lefties, and it’s safe to say he hasn’t faced many as good as Skubal. Still, this rates as good news for Kelenic’s fantasy value, and he’s worth playing in mixed leagues for as long as he remains in the leadoff spot. Rotoworld Today, 8:00 am
    • Homers, drives in three
Crawford went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, an RBI double and a pair of walks in Tuesday's 8-5 victory over the Guardians.

Advice: Crawford got the Mariners on the board with a two-run blast off Triston McKenzie in the third inning before adding a third RBI with a double in the fourth. Crawford had gone just 1-for-25 with no extra-base hits in seven games prior to Tuesday. Overall, he's slashing just .208/.305/.375 with seven homers, 21 RBI and 29 runs scored through 220 plate appearances this year. Rotowire.com Today, 7:18 am

    • Three hits in Tuesday's win
Pederson went 3-for-4 in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: All three knocks were singles, but it was still another busy night on the basepaths for Pederson, who also got hit by a pitch. The veteran slugger is batting .375 (12-for-32) over the last 10 games with two doubles, two homers, two steals, eight runs and 12 RBI as he takes advantage of a long stretch of right-handers being sent to the mound against the Diamondbacks. With Patrick Corbin and MacKenzie Gore set to start for Washington in the final two games of the series, however, Pederson figures to head to the bench despite his current form. • Winds up with win
Duran (3-2) picked up the win Tuesday against Tampa Bay, striking out two during a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Duran took the mound in the top of the ninth inning with the game tied, 6-6, and didn't allow a hit for a fifth consecutive appearance. After Carlos Santana delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth, Duran ended up qualifying for his third win of the campaign. The Twins' closer is 11-for-11 on save chances this season and owns a 3.43 ERA across 21.0 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 5:24 am
