    • Produces lone run
Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Jeffers gave Minnesota the lead with a solo homer as the team's first batter of the game. However, they wouldn't score another run following Jeffers' round-tripper and Jeffers himself struck out in his final three plate appearances. The catcher has hit double-digit homers in 2024 and is on pace to smash his career high of 14 long balls. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:19 pm
    • Smacks third homer
O'Hoppe went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: O'Hoppe got the Angels back into the game with a fourth-inning blast off Sonny Gray. Since returning from a minor hand issue May 6, O'Hoppe has gone 9-for-31 (.290) with eight RBI over eight games. The catcher is at a .268/.321/.402 slash line with three homers, 19 RBI, 15 runs scored, six doubles and a triple over 37 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:52 pm
    • Mitch Garver absent due to back spasms
Mitch Garver didn’t play Tuesday because of upper back spasms.

Advice: The Mariners declined to announce why Garver was scratched until after the game. It sounds like this is a day-to-day issue, though given that Garver has largely struggled and it might not be a bad things for the Mariners to open up the DH spot for 10 days, a short IL stint could be a possibility. • Battling back spasms
Garver was scratched from Seattle's lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against Kansas City due to upper-back spasms, Daniel Kramer of MLB.comreports.

Advice: The 33-year-old backstop missed a few games in March due to back spasms, though manager Scott Servais said Garver's current injury is unrelated to his previous issue. No timeline was given for his return, but it's possible the M's hold him out for a game or two in order to properly recover. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:35 pm

    • Caratini drives in winning run vs. Athletics
Victor Caratini went 1-for-1 with an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Athletics.

Advice: Caratini was called on to pinch hit for Mauricio Dubón in the 10th inning and laced a two-strike breaking ball back up the middle for a hit to drive in Trey Cabbage from third. It was the second walk-off hit for Caratini on the season, as the veteran catcher has come up clutch for the Astros on a handful of occasions early on. Despite the clutch hit, Caratini is hitting .158 on the month and .259 on the season. He shouldn’t be counted on in fantasy at this time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:33 pm
    • Bo Naylor drives in two in win over Rangers
Bo Naylor went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

Advice: Naylor doubled in the second inning to score Estevan Florial and Kyle Manzardo, giving the Guardians their first runs of the day and an early 2-0 lead. He would later score on a single by Andrés Giménez to push the lead to 3-0. Naylor’s hit ended a three-game hitless streak as the catcher has struggled out of the gate to start the year. Naylor entered the day batting .175 with three homers and nine RBI over 33 games. He remains well off the fantasy radar at this time. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:13 pm
    • Elias Díaz leaves game with left hand soreness
Elias Díaz was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Padres due to left hand soreness.

Advice: It doesn’t sound like a serious concern, but we’ll have to wait and see. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:50 pm
    • Jeffers’ homer gives Twins lone run vs. Yankees
Ryan Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Carlos Rodón’s second pitch of the evening was sent 429 feet into the left field stands by Jeffers, who got the scoring started with a leadoff homer. It was Jeffers’ 10th home run of the season, as he’s well on pace to top his previous career high of 14 before the all-star break. Jeffers is now slashing .278/.308/.806 in the month of May with five homers and 13 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:34 pm
    • Back on concussion IL
The Giants placed Bailey on the 7-day concussion IL on Tuesday, retroactive to Sunday.

Advice: Bailey missed the Giants' last two games due to an illness, and he met with a team doctor Monday to determine whether or not his illness was related to the concussion he suffered earlier in May. He will now return to the concussion IL and will be eligible to return to action Sunday, though the Giants will likely be more cautious this time around before inserting him back into their lineup. Blake Sabol will take over as San Francisco's primary catcher while Bailey is out, and Marco Luciano will come up from Triple-A Sacramento to fill the open roster spot. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:40 pm
