      Advice: Ramirez endured an 0-for-17 slump over a five-game stretch from April 30 to May 4, but he's bounced back by going 5-for-11 with two homers and five RBI over his last three contests. That slump has still left a mark -- the third baseman is slashing .245/.290/.448 on the year with seven homers, 30 RBI, five steals and 24 runs scored through 155 plate appearances.       José Ramírez went 1-for-4 with a home run in Monday’s 2-1 win over the Tigers.

      Advice: Ramírez’s go-ahead home run came in the sixth inning as it hugged the right side of the diamond and hit the foul pole. It was a much-needed run for Cleveland who are now 23-12 through its first 35 games of the season — the team’s best start since 2011. The homer was his first since April 21 and his sixth of the year.     • Jordan Westburg homers in win over Reds
      Jordan Westburg went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

      Advice: Westburg jumped on Nick Lodolo in the first inning with a 378-foot home run that left the bat at 101.9 mph. It was Westburg’s sixth home run of the season to go along with 23 RBIs. It’s been a breakout month for the 25-year-old, but he’s seen his triple slash fall to .286/.336/.513 after going 6-for-28 over his last seven games. The quality of contact gains are real but Westburg is swinging and missing a lot more this season, so the batting average may continue to slip a little bit in the coming weeks.
