    • Hits walk-off homer Sunday
Nimmo (intercostal) entered Sunday's 4-3 win over Atlanta in the bottom of the seventh inning and hit a walk-off two-run home run in his lone at-bat.

Advice: Nimmo was held out of the starting nine due to right intercostal irritation, but he felt well enough to come off the bench and replace DJ Stewart as a pinch runner in the seventh inning. He then manned left field for the final two innings and recorded a pair of outs in the field before slugging a home run off AJ Minter in the bottom of the ninth. Nimmo said during the ESPN broadcast that he expects to play Monday against the Phillies, but fantasy managers will still want to ensure he's included in the lineup prior to the 7:10 p.m. ET opening pitch before activating him. • Leaves yard Sunday
Tatis went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Tatis got the Padres on the board early with a first inning solo blast off Walker Buehler. That's now at least a hit in eight of his last nine games, during which he's hitting .342 with a pair of home runs, five RBI and six runs scored. Tatis continues to steadily produce, slashing .257/.335/.449 with eight homers, 22 RBI, 29 runs, six steals and a 17:41 BB:K in 188 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:40 pm
    • Delivers extra-inning HR
Joe went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Joe spearheaded the Pirates' comeback effort, plating Oneil Cruz on a leadoff homer in the bottom of the 10th inning. However, his long ball wasn't enough, as Pittsburgh trailed by three entering the frame. Joe has gone yard in back-to-back games, bringing his season total up to five homers in 134 plate appearances. • Goes yard
Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a solo homer during Sunday's 9-2 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Rutschman notched his sixth long ball of the campaign, tagging Zac Gallen for a solo home run in the sixth inning. After seeing his batting average jump from .254 to .277 last season, Rutschman has taken another step forward at the plate in 2024, slashing .304/.339/.453 with 23 RBI and 21 runs scored across 38 games. • Brandon Nimmo sinks Braves with walk-off blast
Brandon Nimmo played the role of hero on Sunday night in New York, crushing a walk-off two-run homer off of A.J. Minter to deliver a 4-3 victory over the Braves.

Advice: The Mets entered the final frame trailing 3-2, but things got interesting after Jeff McNeil started it off with a bunt single. He was then sacrificed to second base by Tomas Nido. McNeil got an unbelievable jump on a 2-1 offering to Nimmo and looked to have third base stolen, but Nimmo fouled the pitch off and showed clear frustration with himself over the situation. Not to worry though, as two pitches later he pulverized a cutter from Minter for a 396-foot (103.7 mph EV) walk-off blast. Not bad for his only at-bat in the contest. On the season, he’s now hitting .234/.379/.431 with six long balls and 27 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:18 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. goes deep as Padres top Dodgers
Fernando Tatis Jr. went 1-for-3 and blasted a mammoth solo home run on Sunday as the Padres shut out the Dodgers 4-0 in San Diego.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar opened the scoring in the contest with a mammoth 442-foot (109.2 mph EV) solo shot off of Walker Buehler in the home half of the first inning. He was also plunked by Ryan Yarbrough later in the ballgame. While he’s not completely lighting the world on fire, Tatis has still been very productive from a fantasy perspective this season — slashing .257/.335/.449 with eight homers, 22 RBI and six stolen bases (in seven attempts). • Three-run homer in loss
Castellanos went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Castellanos took Miami starter Braxton Garrett deep for a three-run shot in the top of the first inning, giving the Phillies an early 3-0 lead. The long ball was his fourth of the season and second homer in his last three contests. Castellanos has now secured at least one hit in eight consecutive games, batting .322 with two home runs, seven RBI, eight runs scored and a stolen base over 31 at-bats during that stretch. • Patrick Bailey scratched due to illness on Sunday
Patrick Bailey was scratched from the Giants’ starting lineup on Sunday due to a viral illness.

Advice: At least his absence wasn’t concussion-related, but we’ve seen these viral illnesses going around many MLB clubs and they’ve been forcing players to miss extended time. The good news is that he’s considered day-to-day and shouldn’t require a return trip to the injured list, but he may wind up needing a couple of days before he’s ready to return. • Adley Rutschman homers in loss to Arizona
Adley Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a home run in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Rutschman took a Zac Gallen offering and hit it 363 feet at 105.5 mph for his sixth home run of the season. The 26-year-old continues to be a solid performer at the top of the Orioles’ lineup and one of the best catchers in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:03 pm
