    • Swats first homer of season
Andujar went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Rays.

Advice: The 29-year-old accounted for all the offense in the game when he took Zack Littell deep in the sixth inning. It was Andujar's first homer of the season, and he appears to be getting a chance to lock down the starting role in left field -- he's started three of four games since being activated from the injured list, going 4-for-12 with five RBI. • Leads with three RBI
Schneider went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one walk, three RBI and one run in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneider batted leadoff for the 10th time in 11 games and provided a spark atop the lineup as Toronto took home its second win in a row. Overall, Schneider has posted an .819 OPS in 13 starts as a leadoff man this season, and so long as he continues to excel in that capacity, he should stick as the Blue Jays' table setter even as George Springer is beginning to emerge from his season-long slumber. • Starts at DH in return
Langford served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-3 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Arizona.

Advice: Langford was activated from the 10-day injured list and played for the first time since May 4. His activation to the roster came at the expense of left fielder Evan Carter (back), who went on the IL, but Langford was eased in as the DH while Travis Jankowski handled left field. • Davis Schneider swats two doubles, drives in three
Davis Schneider went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneider doubled to kick off the game, but his second double, which came in the second inning, drove in two runs to give the Blue Jays an early 3-0 lead. He would add another RBI in the sixth inning on a sacrifice fly to score George Springer, upping his RBI total to 28 on the season. Schneider is hitting a solid .255 on the year and is slashing .250/.368/.487 this month. While he’s not hitting for an overly high average, he’s offered decent power and an ability to drive in runs. • Miguel Andujar homers in win over Rays
Miguel Andujar went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a win over the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: Andujar took a sixth-inning offering from Zack Littell and hit it out of the park for a three-run shot at 106 mph off the bat. It was his first home run of the 2024 season, but the 29-year-old has been regularly hitting in the middle of the order for Oakland since coming off the IL and has gone 4-for-12 with five RBIs in three games. He’s a career .271 hitter who hasn’t quite delivered on his early-career promise, but perhaps he can get on the deep-league fantasy radar now that he seems to have a full-time job. • Nolan Jones (back, knee) runs bases on Tuesday
Nolan Jones (back, knee) progressed to running the bases on Tuesday at Coors Field.

Advice: Jones was pulled off a minor league rehab assignment last week due to right knee soreness, so it’s an encouraging development that he’s resumed running already. The 26-year-old should ramp-up the intensity in the coming days and could get back into minor league contests as early as Thursday with Triple-A Albuquerque. He’s been on the shelf since late April due to a lower back strain. Rotoworld Tuesday, 3:29 pm

    • Dealing with back tightness
Carter was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with lower-back tightness, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 21-year-old missed some time in mid-May due to a back issue, and it apparently remains bothersome as the month comes to a close. Carter is without a hit in his past 20 at-bats, and the injury could help explain some of those struggles. It's unclear how long the young outfielder is expected to be sidelined, but the organization will likely want him to get some at-bats in the minors before he rejoins the big club. • Back from injured list
The Rangers activated Langford (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 22-year-old has been on the shelf more than three weeks due to a hamstring injury but will rejoin the Rangers after a three-game rehab stint with Triple-A Round Rock. Langford was struggling offensively before going on the injured list, as he was in the midst of a 3-for-28 slump. Evan Carter (back) was moved to the 10-day IL in a corresponding move. • Top prospect Wyatt Langford returns Tuesday
Rangers activated OF Wyatt Langford from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Langford will make his highly-anticipated return for Tuesday’s showdown against Arizona on the heels of a three-week absence recovering from a right hamstring strain. The 22-year-old top prospect hasn’t exactly set the fantasy landscape ablaze following a sizzling-hot spring training performance, batting .224/.295/.293 with one homer, 11 RBI and one steal in 129 plate appearances over 31 contests. Given his immense raw talent, it certainly feels like only a matter of time before he heats up. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:13 pm
