    • Jarred Kelenic hits solo homer off Paul Skenes
Jarred Kelenic went 2-for-3 with a homer in an extra-inning win Saturday over the Pirates.

    • Paul Skenes strike out nine against Atlanta
Paul Skenes struck out nine over six innings of one-run baseball but didn’t factor into the decision Saturday against Atlanta.

Advice: Skenes gave up a leadoff homer to Jarred Kelenic in the first, and from that point out he was essentially lights out. The right-hander scattered six total hits in the contests with two walks allowed and 61-of-102 pitches going for strikes. To say that Skenes has lived up to the hype thus far is an understatement, and over his last four starts he’s given up a total of three runs with a 32/4 K/BB over 25 1/3 innings. There’s no reason to take him out of your lineup for Friday’s scheduled start against the Mets. Rotoworld 7 minutes ago
    • Tobias Myers gets quality start, no-decision
Tobias Myers went six innings while allowing three runs and not factoring into the decision Saturday against the Cubs.

Advice: Myers dealt with quite a bit of traffic Saturday, as he allowed seven hits and also issued a pair of walks. He was able to work around that traffic for the most part, thanks largely to six strikeouts and a couple of double plays. The 25-year-old gave up a two-run homer to Michael Busch in the first, but it was (mostly) smooth sailing from that point on. Myers does see his ERA jump up to 3.26, but that’s still a very solid number for the right-handed hurler. He faces Colorado next, and it’s worth pointing out that start will take place in Denver. • Nolan Jones goes deep in loss to White Sox
Nolan Jones went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer against the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Jones took Jonathan Cannon deep for a two-run shot in the fifth inning. It was only his third home run of the season as he’s struggled to a .192/.298/.323 slash line, striking out 33.1 percent of the time across 151 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:53 pm

    • Excellent production continues
Altuve went 2-for-5 with a double and a solo home run Friday against the Mets.

Advice: Altuve recorded his fourth consecutive multi-hit game and has maintained a .337 average across 23 games in June. His power has picked up of late, as he's now popped three homers in his last 10 starts while also swiping four bags in that span. Rotowire.com Today, 6:48 am
    • Luis Arraez returns to lineup Friday vs. Red Sox
Luis Arraez (hand) returned to the lineup for Friday’s game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Arraez wound up sitting out just one contest after suffering a hand injury earlier this week. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward for fantasy managers, but we’re contractually obligated to note it here. Rotoworld Today, 6:17 am
    • Logs steal in win
Witt went 1-for-3 with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Witt previously went 10 games without a steal and hit just .184 (7-for-38) in that span. While that's a rare cold stretch for the shortstop, he salvaged it by knocking five extra-base hits in that period. Witt is up to 22 steals this year while adding 12 home runs, 53 RBI, 63 runs scored and a .310/.363/.531 slash line over 84 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:51 pm

    • Goes deep in win
Soderstrom went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Soderstrom has hit all but one of his homers this season over his last 17 games, batting .262 (16-for-61) in that span. The 22-year-old is at a .229/.321/.449 slash line with seven homers, 18 RBI, 12 runs scored and five doubles across 41 contests overall. He's seeing regular playing time at first base against right-handed pitchers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:18 pm
    • Strikes out seven
Knack allowed a run on five hits and struck out seven without walking a batter over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Friday.

Advice: Knack was pulled at 76 pitches (49 strikes) after giving up a solo home run to Luis Matos and singles to Brett Wisely and Jorge Soler in the fifth inning. While Knack wouldn't have qualified for the win, it was still a positive showing despite it being tied for his shortest start of the season in the majors. The right-hander has maintained a 2.08 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB through 30.1 innings over six starts. It looks like he's good for at least a short-term stay in the rotation, which lines him up for a home start versus the Diamondbacks next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:20 pm
