Siani has hit safely in eight of his 15 games in June, but he hasn't posted a multi-hit effort since May 20. The outfielder is up to two homers, 10 RBI, 17 runs scored, seven stolen bases and a .210/.257/.283 slash line through 157 plate appearances. Siani sat out against the last two southpaws the Cardinals have faced, so he appears to be slipping into a strong-side platoon role in center field, with Dylan Carlson picking up at-bats versus lefties.       Advice: Busch gave Chicago its first lead with a two-run blast to center field in the sixth inning. Busch began the campaign with six homers through 16 contests, so the fact that he's still yet to reach double digits in that category emphasizes the extent to which he's slowed down.       Advice: Happ's seventh-inning, three-run homer snapped a 3-3 tie and appeared to give the Cubs a comfortable advantage, but the Giants scored three runs in the ninth to pull out the win. Nonetheless, Happ continued to break out of his recent slump -- over his past three contests, he's gone 6-for-9 with two homers, six RBI and three walks.       Advice: Bailey brought San Francisco to within two runs with his eighth-inning solo blast. It was just his second extra-base hit over his past 16 contests, a span in which he's batted .264 (14-for-53). Bailey has a modest five long balls on the campaign, but he's been solid offensively with a .286/.360/.435 slash line, 23 RBI, 18 runs, two steals, an 11.5 percent walk rate and a 19.0 percent strikeout rate over 179 plate appearances.       Advice: Estrada was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning to give San Francisco its first lead, though Chicago quickly re-took the lead in the bottom of the frame. The Giants remained behind until the ninth, when Estrada blasted a three-run homer that proved to be the game-winning hit. The long ball snapped a 20-game homerless stretch for the infielder.       Zach Neto hit a two-run homer Monday to lead the Angels to a 5-3 win over the Brewers.

      Advice: Angels manager Ron Washington has utterly refused to hit Neto in the top half of the order, but the 23-year-old has been one of the team’s best players in batting .249/.297/.440 with 10 homers in 260 plate appearances. He’s not yet a finished product and it’s possible he’ll struggle to reach his true potential while playing for one of MLB’s most dysfunctional franchises, but the sky really is the limit here.       De La Cruz went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Monday's 7-6 loss versus the Cardinals.

      Advice: The 27-year-old's only hit in this game was a big one as he tied the score at 4-4 with a three-run blast off JoJo Romero in the eighth. De La Cruz is already up to 12 homers in 2024 after he totaled 19 long balls in 153 games last year. The power production helps offset De La Cruz's underwhelming .242/.295/.416 slash line.
