    Friedl went 2-for-5 in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Boston.

    Advice: Friedl's fifth-inning single snapped an 0-for-16 run. Later in the same inning, Friedl was thrown out at home trying to score on an infield grounder -- one of three baserunning miscues in the game. After missing most of the first two months of the season due to injuries, Friedl is healthy and has started 19 of the 21 games since returning from a second stint on the injured list in late May.     Langford went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Royals.

    Advice: Langford provided insurance when he launched a grand slam in the eighth inning, giving the team a six-run lead heading into the final frame. Until this week, the rookie had been held to one inside-the-park home run, which was uncharacteristic for the prospect that carried 70-grade power. That all changed this week; Saturday's granny was the second outside-the-park home run this week for Langford, who is 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits and nine RBI over the last four contests. Since returning from a three-week stint on the injured list in May, Langford is slashing .299/.341/.481 with eight extra-base hits, 19 RBI and six steals over 21 games. For the season, he's up to six homers in 75 contests, matching his total form 115 games a year ago. He's added a .281/.325/.408 slash line with 31 RBI, 22 runs scored and three stolen bases. He had exclusively hit in the bottom third of the order, but he was batting leadoff for Saturday's contest -- a move up the order would likely lead to better overall production if he can stay there.     Nick Castellanos went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBI against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

    Advice: Castellanos’ home run was his 11th of the season and went so far he started removing his protective elbow pad before he even exited the batter’s box. In all, he had a sacrifice fly, two-run home run and two-run double. Castellanos has struggled this season with a .225 average and .672 OPS, but the Phillies lineup still provides opportunities to drive in runs as he now has 37 RBI on the year.     Advice: Langford’s home run was just his third of the year, but he’s been heating up at the plate lately.
