    Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-5 win over the Reds on Sunday.

    Advice: Reynolds homered off Hunter Greene in the first inning in an at-bat that started with Greene puking on the mound. Reynolds later crushed a 426-foot shot at 106.3 mph for his 13th home run of the season to go along with 46 RBI and a .280/.347/.475 slash line.   • Bryan Reynolds pushes hit streak to 21 straight
    Bryan Reynolds extended his hitting streak to 21 consecutive games on Monday in the Pirates’ loss to the Reds.

    Advice: Reynolds went 2-for-4 with an RBI and also drew a walk, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances in a one-sided affair. The 29-year-old outfielder is batting .315 (39-for-124) with seven homers and one steal over his last 30 games. Rotoworld Monday, 7:18 pm

    Reds manager David Bell said Monday that he expects Friedl (hamstring) to return from the 10-day injured list in 2-to-3 weeks, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

    Advice: Cincinnati placed Friedl on the IL on Monday after he aggravated a left hamstring strain in Sunday's 7-4 loss to Boston. The Reds called up Levi Jordan from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move to burnish their depth in the outfield, but Stuart Fairchild could be given the first opportunity to replace Friedl as the club's everyday center fielder.     Advice: Friedl initially tweaked the hamstring a week ago and missed two games before returning to action, but he aggravated the injury in Sunday's 7-4 loss to Boston.     Advice: This is Friedl’s third IL stint of the season.     Langford went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

    Advice: The story of the game was the return of Max Scherzer to the mound, but Langford also contributed to the Rangers' fourth straight win. His fourth-inning double plated Texas' first run and he came home on Leody Taveras' two-run single.     TJ Friedl went 0-for-5 from the leadoff spot Sunday against the Red Sox, leaving him 2-for-23 in his last six games.

    Advice: Friedl got off to a hot start this month, but he’s gone hitless in five of his last six starts, putting him back down to .208/.309/.354 for the season.     Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-3 with a homer that accounted for Pittsburgh’s only run and a walk Sunday against the Rays.

    Advice: The homer left his bat at just 90 mph, but aided by some wind, it got over the wall at PNC Park. Reynolds’ hitting streak is now at 20 games, and it includes three homers in his last four games. Today’s performance pushed his OPS over .800 for the first time since mid-April.
