Eugenio Suárez goes 0-for-4 against Dodgers
Even as his teammates were combining to put up nine runs, Eugenio Suárez went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts Thursday against the Dodgers.
Advice: The Diamondbacks said after Geraldo Perdomo returned last month that they’d start giving Blaze Alexander time over Suárez at third base, but not only did they not to do that, they’ve since sent down Alexander, even though Suárez has done nothing to inspire any confidence. He’s at .200/.287/.319 through 327 plate appearances. He has 96 strikeouts and 91 total bases. He’s gone hitless in exactly half of his 82 starts.
