    Jung (wrist) started at third base and went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored for Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

    Advice: Jung kicked off a rehab assignment for the Express and played five innings in the field. Texas manager Bruce Bochy previously targeted Jung for 30 at-bats before returning to the major leagues, but the manager acknowledged Sunday to Kennedi Landry of MLB.com that it's a fluid situation. "We'll kind of monitor how things are going with him, the at-bats, how his body is bouncing back," Bochy said. "But we don't have a specific number."     Advice: Rafaela has multiple hits in four of the last five games, including three hits in each of the last two contests. The steal was his first since June 1, though he's up to nine thefts on 14 attempts this year. The 23-year-old is up to a .238/.264/.383 slash line through 263 plate appearances this season, though his performance in June has seen him trend upward in everything but power.   • Camilo Doval has ugly outing in rout
    Brought in with a 13-2 lead in the ninth, Camilo Doval was charged with four runs in one-third of an inning Sunday against the Angels.

    Advice: Ouch. The Giants just wanted to get Doval some work after three days off, and he wound up allowing four hits and two walks. It’s the second time this month that he’s allowed four runs, though it wasn’t nearly as costly last time.   • Ronel Blanco fires seven no-hit innings in victory
    Ronel Blanco delivered a dazzling performance in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Tigers, firing seven innings of no-hit baseball.

    Advice: The 30-year-old hurler racked up eight strikeouts in the contest while issuing three free passes. He carried a bid for a perfect game into the fifth inning where he issued a two-out walk to Gio Urshela. He then walked Akil Baddoo and Carson Kelly to load the bases before getting Zack McKinstry to fly out to end the threat. Those would be the Tigers’ only base runners against him. Blanco got 15 swings and misses on 94 pitches on the day — eight of those on his changeup — while registering an elite CSW of 41 percent.   • Suffers wrist contusion
    Rengifo suffered a left wrist contusion in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Giants, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports. He went 1-for-2 with a run scored prior to his departure.

    Advice: Rengifo took a line drive single from Matt Chapman off his left arm in the bottom of the fourth inning while playing third base, exiting the contest thereafter. The 27-year-old underwent X-rays, which showed just a contusion, and he said that he expects to play Monday against the Brewers. Rengifo can be considered day-to-day for the time being.     Luis Rengifo (wrist) told reporters after Sunday’s game that he expects to play on Monday.

    Advice: Rengifo was pulled from Sunday’s game after being drilled in the wrist by a ball off the bat of Matt Chapman. He did undergo precautionary X-rays that ruled out any fractures though and was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion.   • Could be back Wednesday
    Cole (elbow) could be reinstated from the 60-day injured list to start Wednesday's game versus the Orioles at Yankee Stadium, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: The Yankees have confirmed Nestor Cortes and Luis Gil as their starting pitchers for games Tuesday and Thursday versus Baltimore, but a starter has yet to be made for Wednesday while the club weighs whether to activate Cole for his season debut or to have him make another minor-league rehab start. While shifting his assignment from Double-A Somerset to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Cole delivered a gem in his third rehab outing Friday, striking out 10 over 4.1 innings while allowing one unearned run on two hits and no walks. He tossed 70 pitches in the start, so Cole would likely have a slight cap on his workload if he were to rejoin the New York rotation Wednesday.     Luis Rengifo was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion after being hit by a batted ball during Sunday’s contest against the Giants.

    Advice: Presumably, he has already undergone imaging that ruled out any fractures, but the announcement from the Angels was simply that he was dealing with a left wrist contusion.
