• Converts 16th save
Doval allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Thursday's 4-2 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Doval has converted his first two save chances in July after a tumultuous June. He's allowed one run over his last seven innings, converting four of his five save chances in that span. Overall, he's 16-for-19 in saves with a 4.15 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 46:22 K:BB through 34.2 innings, though his status as the Giants' closer hasn't been threatened. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:07 pm
  • Doval picks up 16th save against Braves Thursday
Camilo Doval tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Braves on Thursday.

Advice: The save was his 16th of the season. Doval recorded two strikeouts and allowed one hit in the ninth inning. He has a 4.15 ERA on the season, but continues to be a reliable source of saves for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:00 pm
  • Continues to pitch better
Neris tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Thursday's 10-2 win over the Phillies. He allowed one hit and struck out two.

Advice: After a rough patch in the middle of June, Neris has now strung together four straight scoreless appearances. That's allowed the veteran reliever to lower his season ERA to a more respectable 4.11. Neris logged a stellar 1.71 ERA across 68.1 innings last year for the Astros, so there is potential for continued improvement in 2024. The better play has also likely kept him locked into the closer role for the time being. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:30 pm

  • Fares well in no-decision
Miller allowed two runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out six over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Orioles on Thursday.

Advice: Miller gave up a two-run home run to Gunnar Henderson in the third inning, but he was able to limit the damage there. While he came an out shy of a quality start for the second time in four outings, Miller put in a decent performance to avoid a third straight loss. The right-hander is at a 3.84 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 97:29 K:BB over 103 innings across 18 starts. He's projected for a road outing in San Diego in his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:39 pm

  • Steals base, scores three runs
Suzuki went 2-for-3 with two walks, three runs and a stolen base Thursday against the Phillies.

Advice: Suzuki entered the game having struck out 12 times against just one walk in 25 plate appearances over his previous six games but reached base four times on two hits and a couple of walks, leading to a season-high three runs scored. It was just the fourth time this season Suzuki drew multiple free passes in a game. He also recorded his eighth stolen base of the season in 10 tries, leaving him just one shy of a career high. • Bryce Miller lasts 5 2/3 frames in no-decision
Bryce Miller allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings on Thursday in a no-decision against the Orioles.

Advice: Miller surrendered eight hits, including a two-run homer to Orioles superstar Gunnar Henderson, which accounted for all of the damage against him in a low-scoring showdown at T-Mobile Park. He finished with six strikeouts and only handed out one free pass. He’ll bring a respectable 3.84 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 97/29 K/BB ratio across 103 innings (18 starts) into a road tilt on Wednesday against the Padres in his final outing prior to the All-Star break. • Seiya Suzuki scores three times in victory
Seiya Suzuki went 2-for3 with two walks, a steal and three runs scored Thursday versus the Phillies.

Advice: It’s nice seeing Suzuki with eight steals in 10 attempts this season after he was just 6-for-13 last year. He’s not excelling in any fantasy category, but neither has he been a liability in any while batting .263 with 11 homers, 35 runs scored and 34 RBI in 62 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:58 pm

  • Luis Rengifo undergoing MRI on right wrist
Luis Rengifo is out of the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Athletics with right wrist soreness.

Advice: X-rays came back negative for any fractures after Rengifo left Wednesday’s game against the Athletics with right hand soreness following a ninth-inning swing. However, he’s slated to undergo an MRI on Friday in Chicago to determine the extent of the injury, specifically whether he’s dealing with any structural damage. There should be an update on his status in the coming days, but fantasy managers shouldn’t expect him back until the weekend, even if he checks out completely fine. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:02 pm

  • Marcus Semien getting a day off on Thursday
Marcus Semien is not in the Rangers’ lineup on Thursday.

Advice: It’s a rare off day for Semien, who has played all 162 games in three of the last four non-COVID seasons and played 161 games in the other year. However, the day off might be needed as Semien has been struggling at the dish of late. Jonathan Ornelas still start at second and bat ninth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:00 am
