• Homers, steals bag in win
Altuve went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, two runs and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Tigers.

Advice: With two men on and two out in the second inning, Altuve took Kenta Maeda deep for his 11th long ball of the season. He added another hit and then reached on a walk in the eighth to then pick up his 10th stolen base of the campaign. It was Altuve's second home run in his last seven games after a streak of 17 games without a blast. The second baseman has been hot as of late, hitting .333 in June, and for the season he's slashing a healthy .299/.350/.460. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:55 pm
  • Kwan has four-hit game in loss to Jays Sunday
Steven Kwan went 4-for-5 with one RBI against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Kwan is hitting a ridiculous .398 on the season now. It’s probably not sustainable as his BABIP is .418 compared to his career .320 BABIP, but Kwan benefits from his low seven percent strikeout percentage. He’s going to put the ball in play a lot and right now everything is finding a hole.

  • Making seventh straight start
Pillar will start in center field and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Giants, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Advice: Pillar will pick up his seventh straight start and may have pushed his way into a near-everyday role in the Angels outfield while he's been at a heater at the plate for more than a month now. Dating back to May 7, Pillar is slashing .351/.394/.629 with six home runs, four stolen bases, 24 RBI and 21 runs in 27 games. Pillar's much more modest offensive outputs over parts of the previous 11 seasons in the big leagues suggest he won't be able to maintain his current level of production for much longer, but fantasy managers should ride the wave while it lasts. • IL bound with arm injury
The Dodgers placed Yamamoto (triceps) on the 15-day injured list Sunday.

Advice: Yamamoto struck out a batter over two scoreless innings before he was lifted from his start in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Royals after he had experienced tightness in his right tricep while warming up prior to the game. Manager Dave Roberts hinted after the game that Yamamoto was likely to land on the IL, and the Dodgers have made the move official prior to Sunday's series finale. According to David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, Roberts suggested that Yamamoto will be sent in for further testing Sunday before an official diagnosis for the injury and a timeline for his return is provided. • Getting Sunday off
Fry is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Fry will rest after he had started each of the past seven games at catcher or in the corner outfield while going 6-for-26 at the dish. His absence Sunday opens up a spot in the lineup at designated hitter for Kyle Manzardo, who had been on the bench for each of the past three contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:45 am

  • Back in lineup as DH
Perez (knee) will start at designated hitter and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Perez is battling a right knee sprain, but it's said to be relatively minor. He'll play through the injury Sunday, albeit in a non-defensive role. It's uncertain when he may return to catching duties. The team recalled Austin Nola from Triple-A Omaha on Saturday, and Nola's presence on the roster affords Perez and the Royals some time to get him right before he slots back in behind the plate. • Salvador Perez (knee) back in lineup Sunday
Salvador Perez (knee) is back in the lineup as the designated hitter Sunday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Perez was removed Friday after experiencing discomfort in his right knee, and while the backstop did miss Saturday’s game, he’s feeling well enough to be the designated hitter and hit cleanup against the Dodgers in the final game of the three-game set. Great news for all parties involved. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:16 am
  • Extends hitting streak
Gonzales went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, two RBI and two runs scored Saturday against Colorado.

Advice: Gonzales tallied Pittsburgh's first run of the game with a solo home run in the fourth inning, his fifth long ball of the season. That knock also extended his hitting streak to six games, and he's hitting .292 with nine RBI and five runs scored across 12 contests in June. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:08 am

  • IL stint probable
Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that there is a "high probability" Yamamoto (triceps) will be placed on the 15-day injured list, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: The rookie right-hander indicated he didn't think the injury was anything serious after being pulled from Saturday's start. While Yamamoto will undergo further evaluations Sunday before an official move is made, it seems likely that the triceps tightness will require Yamamoto to miss a few starts, even if an IL move is mostly precautionary. Luckily for the Dodgers, Bobby Miller (shoulder) is set to come off the IL this week and rejoin the rotation. Rotowire.com Saturday, 9:43 pm
