• Absent from lineup
Hamilton is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Blue Jays.

Advice: Hamilton hit a big home run in the Red Sox' comeback win over the Blue Jays on Monday, but he will begin Tuesday's festivities on the bench. Ceddanne Rafaela is at shortstop and Enmanuel Valdez will play second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:42 pm
  • Ends slump Monday
Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-1 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Perez had gone 0-for-14 over his previous four games, and he'd gone seven contests without an extra-base hit. Both droughts ended when the catcher went back-to-back with Vinnie Pasquantino in the fourth inning, with Perez's homer serving as the decisive run. A poor June -- 11-for-57 (.157) over 20 games -- has taken some of the shine off of what was a strong start to the year for Perez. He's now slashing .280/.352/.462 with 12 homers, 46 RBI, 29 runs scored and 15 doubles through 77 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:55 am
  • Homers in win
Hamilton started at second base and went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 7-6 win over Toronto.

Advice: Hamilton belted his fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the bottom of the eighth inning that narrowed the Red Sox's deficit to 6-4. It continued a renaissance that began mid-May -- Hamilton has an .869 OPS with 17 steals, eight doubles, one triple, four home runs and 13 RBI over the last 36 games. The offensive production has led to Hamilton being a lineup regular, typically at shortstop but sometimes at second base, with the latter an unsettled position at this stage. • Smacks three hits in win
Ramos went 3-for-4 with a double and a walk in Monday's 5-4 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Ramos went 1-for-22 over his previous five games before breaking out of the slump emphatically in Monday's contest. The outfielder started June hot and has claimed an everyday role in center field. Overall, he's slashing .301/.375/.534 with 10 home runs, 35 RBI, 17 runs scored, one stolen base and eight doubles over 184 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:00 pm

  • Perez blasts 11th home run in win Monday
Salvador Perez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Marlins.

Advice: Perez’ home run was his 11th of the season and second in the month of June. Perez has cooled off this month. He’s 11-for-70 (.157) in June with two home runs and five RBI. Perez has struck out 20 times with only eight walks in June. He was hitting .321 at the end of May, but now sits at .280 with a .814 OPS on the season. Rotoworld Monday, 7:49 pm
  • Not starting Monday
Fraley is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Fraley will hit the bench for the second game in a row, with his absence Monday most likely being the result of the Pirates bringing southpaw Bailey Falter to the hill. Fraley owns a modest .655 OPS overall in June, but that should be enough for him to retain a regular spot in the lineup against right-handed pitching while the Reds continue to get hit hard by the injury bug. Starting outfielder TJ Friedl (hamstring) joined Christian Encarnacion-Strand (wrist) and Matt McLain (shoulder) on the injured list Monday, while Will Benson (elbow) is day-to-day. • Drawing start at DH on Monday
Fry (elbow) will start at designated hitter and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Fry's status heading into the series opener in Baltimore was somewhat murky after he was forced out of Sunday's 6-5 win over Toronto with right elbow inflammation, but the 29-year-old is apparently feeling well enough to stick in the lineup Monday in a non-defensive role. Once the elbow issue fully subsides, expect Fry to mix in behind the plate and in the corner outfield along with at DH as the Guardians make a concerted effort to keep his productive bat in the lineup. • Collects seventh hold
Garrett gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless eighth inning Sunday to record his seventh hold of the season in a win over the Cubs.

Advice: Edwin Diaz came on the ninth but got ejected for a foreign substance, and Jake Diekman wound up getting a one-out save as Mets manager Carlos Mendoza scrambled to fill in for his closer. Diaz is facing a 10-game suspension, and based on Mendoza's bullpen usage while the right-hander was out injured, Garrett should be viewed as the favorite to handle any save chances during that time. Diekman, Adam Ottavino, Drew Smith and even potentially Dedniel Nunez could all be factors in the ninth as well, however. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:11 am

  • Pops 12th homer
Altuve went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Altuve led off the bottom of the first inning with his 12th home run of the season and third in his last 13 starts. He's been hot in that stretch, maintaining a .352 average with 11 RBI and 10 runs scored while also chipping in a stolen base. Altuve has already locked in his third consecutive season with double-digit homers and steals and is hitting .299 across 342 plate appearances on the campaign. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:31 am
