    • Casey Mize walks four in four innings
Casey Mize surrendered three runs — two earned — and walked four in four innings Sunday against the Red Sox.

Advice: This really should have been worse, but the Red Sox went 0-for-2 stealing bases to help Mize out. It’s the third straight start in which Mize has failed to complete five innings, and his ERA sits at 4.70 after 11 starts. The Tigers aren’t going to remain patient for much longer. • Receiving breather Saturday
Kelly is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Boston, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Advice: Kelly will get a breather after he went 2-for-7 with a triple and a run scored over the first two games of the series. Jake Rogers will draw the start at catcher and bat ninth against the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:34 am

    • Brandon Marsh drives in run in victory on Friday
Brandon Marsh went 1-for-3 with a double, RBI and a run scored as the Phillies triumphed over the Cardinals on Friday night in Philadelphia.

Advice: Marsh opened the scoring in the second inning as he drove in Alec Bohm with a ground ball to first base. He then smacked a one-out double in the seventh inning and raced around to score on a two-out single by Johan Rojas. On the season, the 26-year-old outfielder is now slashing .261/.331/.427 to go with six homers, 25 RBI and eight swipes. Rotoworld Friday, 5:58 pm

    • Idle against lefty
Marsh is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Southpaw Kyle Harrison is on the hill for the Giants in the series finale, so the lefty-hitting Marsh will bow out of the starting nine. Whit Merrifield steps in for Marsh as the Phillies' starting left fielder. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:14 am

    • Sitting out first game
Kelly isn't in the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Pirates.

Advice: The Tigers will have Jake Rogers behind the plate for the opening game, catching for Tarik Skubal. Kelly should be behind the plate for the second game. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 6:34 am

Jordan Wicks (forearm) allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Iowa.

Advice: Wicks struck out five and only issued one walk, throwing 52 pitches (31 strikes) in his latest rehab outing. The 24-year-old lefty figures to be ready to return to Chicago’s starting rotation at some point in early June. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:21 pm

    • Making another rehab start
Wicks (forearm) is starting for Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Wicks will make his second rehab appearance at Triple-A Iowa after going two scoreless innings with three strikeouts Friday. He's still in the process of getting stretched out, so it's expected Wicks will need a couple more rehab starts before being activated. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:53 pm

    • On bench Tuesday
Kelly is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Kelly will yield to Jake Rogers behind the dish Tuesday against righty Jared Jones. Kelly garnered a hit in each of his last three games played, including a three-run homer Sunday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:56 am
