      J.T. Realmuto, who was pretty well beaten up in Tuesday’s game against the Brewers, is absent from Wednesday’s lineup.

      Advice: It’s also a day game after a night game, but we imagine he still would have been in there today if he hadn’t taken quite a bit of damage Tuesday, particularly since the Phillies aren’t playing the next two days as they travel to London.       Advice: The Phillies and Brewers are playing a day game Wednesday after Realmuto caught all 10 innings of a 2-1 win Tuesday, so he appears to be getting some rest in the series finale.       Harrison dropped to 4-3 on the season in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Diamondbacks, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and no walks while striking out five over six innings.

      Advice: Harrison worked a pair of clean innings before the Diamondbacks opened up the third with four consecutive hits, leading to three runs, and then tacked on an unearned run in the fourth. Despite giving up some hard hits early, Harrison was able to buckle down and complete six innings for the first time since May 7. He also managed to not walk a batter for the first time since April 26. The 22-year-old has now given up 20 hits over his last 11 innings, though that also comes with a 10:1 K:BB.       Kyle Harrison gave up four runs — three earned — over six innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

      Advice: Technically, it’s Harrison’s second quality start since the beginning of May. The Giants would have liked a little more from him tonight, but the bullpen was the bigger problem.       Imanaga allowed five runs (one earned) on seven hits and struck out six without walking a batter over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: Christopher Morel's fielding error in the fourth inning was costly, as the White Sox rallied against Imanaga. The southpaw ultimately exited in the fifth after just 69 pitches (48 strikes), and the Cubs rallied to get him off the hook. After a historically strong first nine major-league starts, Imanaga has been tagged for 12 runs (eight earned) over 8.2 innings in his last two appearances. He's now at a 1.88 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 65:10 K:BB over 62.1 innings. His control remains sharp, so it's likely this recent poor stretch is just a bit of regression that he'll have to work through.       Advice: Neris ceded a one-out walk, then watched pinch runner Duke Ellis swipe second. However, the veteran reliever picked off Ellis to shut down any chance of a rally by the White Sox. Neris now has eight saves in 10 chances this season to go with a solid 2.86 ERA.       Dunning didn't factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk across five innings against the Tigers. He struck out four.

      Advice: Dunning couldn't keep the ball in the yard, yielding a two-run home run to Zach McKinstry in the second inning and a solo homer to Riley Greene in the fifth inning for the three runs that went on his ledger. The 29-year-old hasn't completed six innings since his second start of the campaign and owns a 4.09 ERA across 50.2 innings on the year.       Shota Imanaga allowed one earned run in 4 1/3 innings while striking out six in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

      Advice: Imanaga, who didn’t earn a decision in this one, allowed just two base runners through his first three innings but ran into trouble in the fourth after back-to-back singles by Andrew Vaughn and Luis Robert Jr. kickstarted what turned into a five-run inning for the White Sox. Imanaga was charged with just one earned run on the night, but the White Sox did their part to get to him early. A double by Korey Lee would put the White Sox up 3-0, but Lenyn Sosa’s two-run homer just a few batters later quickly pushed that lead to 5-0.       Dane Dunning allowed three earned runs over five innings while striking out four in Tuesday’s loss to the Tigers.

      Advice: Dunning allowed just five baserunners on the evening, but home runs to Zach McKinstry and Riley Green did enough damage to saddle him with the loss. Dunning didn’t get any run support in this one, as Tigers starter Jack Flaherty allowed just two hits in five innings of work to keep the Tigers in front throughout the evening.
