    • Three hits in loss
Estrada went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 14-3 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Estrada has found some consistency in May, going 7-for-17 (.412) over the first four games of the month. He's added two doubles and four RBI in that short stretch. He started slow, but the second baseman is now up to a respectable .254/.270/.426 slash line with four home runs, 17 RBI, 13 runs scored, one stolen base, seven doubles and one triple over 126 plate appearances. • Steven Kwan undergoing MRI on left hamstring
Steven Kwan underwent an MRI on his left hamstring.

Advice: The Guardians are currently awaiting the results of the imaging before making a roster decision. Kwan left Saturday’s game because of tightness in the hamstring, and he’s not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s finale against the Angels. A trip to the injured list can’t be ruled out, and Zack Meisel of The Athletic suggests that Kyle Manzardo could be a roster replacement if that takes place. Rotoworld Today, 9:05 am

    • Steven Kwan out Sunday due to hamstring tightness
Steven Kwan (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Kwan left Saturday with hamstring tightness, and it’s not surprising to see him out of the lineup for the series finale. With the 26-year-old out of action, the Guardians will have Will Brennan play in left field, which Estevan Florial will act as designated hitter and hit in Kwan’s leadoff spot. For now, he should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld Today, 8:02 am

    • Won't start Sunday
Kwan (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Kwan is out of the lineup for just the second time all season, with his absence coming as no surprise after he was removed from Saturday's 7-1 win left hamstring tightness. The 26-year-old is slated to undergo an MRI on Sunday, but the Guardians have yet to provide an update on the findings from those tests. Until the team offers more clarity on his status, Kwan should be viewed as day-to-day heading into Cleveland's upcoming seven-game week. Rotowire.com Today, 7:57 am

    • Reaches five innings in rehab start
Woo (elbow) struck out six and allowed three hits and no walks over five shutout innings in his third rehab start Saturday with Triple-A Tacoma.

Advice: Woo was about as sharp as the Mariners could have hoped in what was likely the final start of his rehab assignment, as he built up to 66 pitches (44 strikes) while making quick work of the Triple-A Sacramento lineup. Provided Woo experiences no complications with his right elbow during a bullpen session within the next couple of days, he should be cleared to return from the 15-day injured list to make his 2024 Mariners debut later this week. Emerson Hancock has been filling in as the Mariners' No. 5 starter while Woo has been out, but Seattle could have room in the rotation for both hurlers if George Kirby (knee) is forced to the 15-day IL. Woo is likely to be activated to start either Thursday in Minnesota or Friday at home versus the Athletics. Rotowire.com Today, 7:16 am

    • Another multi-hit performance
Profar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Saturday's blowout win over the Diamondbacks. He also stole a base.

Advice: Profar reached on a fielder's choice play in the first before stealing his second base of the season and later kicked off a two-run inning with a leadoff single in the fourth. He would add two more hits on the night, including a two-run homer off Brandon Hughes in the seventh as the Padres ran away with their fourth straight win. The veteran outfielder has now ripped off three or more hits in three of his last four games and has hit safely in nine of his last 10. Over that latter stretch, he has three home runs and eight RBI with 10 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:27 am
    • Escapes with sixth save
Neris allowed one run on two hits and one walk but recorded the final three outs of Saturday's game against the Brewers to earn his sixth save of the season. He struck out one batter.

Advice: Neris put the tying run in scoring position with just one out, but he then buckled down and retired Tyler Black and Willy Adames to preserve the win for starter Jameson Taillon. With six saves in as many attempts since April 20, and with Adbert Alzolay struggling to get on track in lower-leverage situations, Neris appears to be shoring up his spot in the ninth inning under manager Craig Counsell. • Jurickson Profar has jack and a bag in victory
Jurickson Profar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and a stolen base on Saturday night as the Padres demolished the Diamondbacks in San Diego.

Advice: Profar didn’t seem to mind being dropped down to the fifth spot in the lineup following the addition of Luis Arraez. He reached on a fielder’s choice and swiped a base in the opening inning but was left stranded at second. He then led off the fourth inning with a single and scored on a ground ball off the bat of Luis Campusano. He also helped to pad the Padres’ lead with a 395-foot (102.0 mph EV) two-run shot off of Brandon Hughes in the seventh inning, making it a 7-0 ballgame. Conventional wisdom says that he’ll eventually crash back to earth, but Profar is on top of the world right now. He’s slashing a robust .347/.435/.542 with five homers, 23 RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:07 pm
    • Will undergo MRI on hamstring
Kwan will undergo an MRI on his injured left hamstring Sunday, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Advice: Kwan tweaked the hamstring during Saturday's 7-1 win over the Angels while making a play in the outfield. More should be known about whether Kwan will require a stint on the injured list following the exam. Kwan is off to an excellent start this season, slashing .353/.407/.496 over 32 games.
