    • Gunnar Henderson homers twice against Astros
Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-5 with two homers, five RBI, a walk and a steal against the Astros on Friday.

Advice: That’s 24 homers in 74 games for Henderson. Many suggested that he’d fail to match his total of 28 homers in 150 games from his rookie season , but we’ll go out on a limb and say that he might actually better the total by one or two of 10 or so. Rotoworld Today, 12:08 am

    • Alexiz Díaz converts 11th straight save chanceg
Alexis Díaz worked a scoreless ninth for his 17th save Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Díaz has converted 10 straight save chances, even though he’s had a few hiccups during the run. His 5.08 ERA and 29/19 K/BB ratio in 28 1/3 innings still don’t inspire a ton of confidence, but things are certainly looking up from a few weeks ago. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:41 pm
    • Hobbled Jurickson Profar pulled for pinch-runner
Jurickson Profar was lifted for a pinch-runner in the seventh inning Friday against the Brewers.

Advice: This probably wasn’t a move the Padres would have made unless Profar’s knee was acting up again. José Azocar ran for him in the game against the Brewers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:36 pm

    • May have aggravated knee issue
Profar (knee) was removed for a pinch runner in the seventh inning of Friday's game against the Brewers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Profar dealt with a knee injury earlier in June, and he didn't appear to be running at full strength to begin Friday's game. He was pulled six frames later, though the Padres could have been giving some additional maintenance time as a precaution. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:19 pm

    • Crushed for 10 runs in second loss
Imanaga (7-2) took the loss to the Mets on Friday, allowing 10 runs on 11 eleven hits and one walk with three strikeouts over three innings.

Advice: Imanaga was hit hard early and often, surrendering six runs on three home runs in the first two innings and another run in the third. He was unable to record an out in the fourth frame and was charged with three more runs, resulting in the worst outing of his major-league career. In total, Imanaga allowed 11 hard-hit balls, as the velocity on each of his pitches was at least one mph below his season averages. Imanaga's ERA rose from 1.89 to 2.96 with a 1.10 WHIP and 81:12 K:BB over 79 innings. He'll look to rebound in a tentative matchup with the Giants next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:10 pm

    • Shota Imanaga gives up 10 runs, 11 hits to Mets
Shota Imanaga was tagged for 10 runs and 11 hits in 3 1/3 innings by the Mets on Friday.

Advice: With his velocity down 1-2 mph on all of his pitches, Imanaga was crushed today, giving up three homers and 11 hard-hit balls in all. He was effective in his previous two starts, but this makes three out of five outings in which he’s struggled; he’s allowed 21 earned runs in those five outings after giving up a total of five in his first nine starts. The velocity is something to watch; he’s been really effective throwing at 92 mph at the top of the zone, but 90 mph might not get it done there. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:36 pm

    • David Fry absent from Guardians lineup on Friday
David Fry is not in the Guardians’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Blue Jays.

Advice: After lighting the world on fire for a couple of weeks at the plate, Fry has fallen on hard times since the calendar flipped to June — hitting just .208/.269/.292 with zero homers, three RBI and a 10/3 K/BB ratio over 52 plate appearances in his last 12 games. Austin Hedges will function as the Guardians’ catcher on Friday night and will bat ninth against Yariel Rodriguez and the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:32 pm

    • Idle Friday
Fry is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: After making three straight starts -- one at catcher, two at DH -- Fry will take a seat Friday. Steven Kwan will DH and lead off while Austin Hedges catches and bats ninth. After batting .383 with seven homers in May, Fry has cooled off significantly in June, batting .208 without a home run in 52 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:20 pm

    • David Hamilton not in Red Sox’ lineup on Friday
David Hamilton is not in the Red Sox’ starting lineup for Friday night’s soiree against the Reds in Cincinnati.

Advice: The 26-year-old speedster has been battling discomfort in his left side, so it’s possible that they’re just easing him back into action. Or if could be that the Red Sox are facing a left-handed starter in Andrew Abbott. Either way, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see him pinch-run and still swipe a bag or two on Friday night before all is said and done. Romy Gonzalez will start in his place at shortstop and bat second for the Red Sox on Friday evening. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:14 pm
