    Advice: McMahon extended his hitting streak to eight games, and he's now gone 13-for-33 (.394) with two homers and five RBI in that span. His first-inning blast off Jordan Hicks was just one of three hits the Rockies mustered in the contest.     Doval struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

    Advice: Doval extended his scoreless streak to 4.1 innings. He needed 17 pitches (10 strikes) Sunday, but he was able to emerge with his eighth save in as many chances this season. The closer has a 3.00 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 24:12 K:BB over 18 innings and has also posted a 2-0 record this season.     Kirby (4-4) suffered the loss Sunday against the Orioles, allowing five runs on nine hits over six innings. He struck out three.

    Advice: Kirby was tagged for a solo homer by Gunnar Henderson to lead off the game and eventually allowed five runs and two homers through three innings before settling down and making it through six frames with no additional damage. It was the first time in seven starts Kirby has allowed more than five hits, while the five earned runs lifted Kirby's ERA to 3.99 over 56.1 innings and 5.19 over 26 innings on the road. Kirby's next start is also slated to take place on the road, though in a much friendlier matchup, as he's tentatively lined up to take on the Nationals in Washington next weekend.     Advice: Seager's solid May continues -- he has gone 17-for-64 (.266) with four homers and nine RBI over 17 contests this month. The shortstop provided the Rangers' lone run against Jose Soriano. Seager's had a down year across the board with a .247/.338/.371 slash line, six homers, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored and three doubles through 44 games. After a slow start to the season, Devers has caught fire lately, hitting safely in 21 of his last 23 games while batting .337 with seven homers, 16 RBI and 17 runs scored.     Camilo Doval threw a scoreless ninth inning to close out a 4-1 win over the Rockies on Sunday.

    Advice: Camilo Doval didn’t allow a hit or a walk while striking out one to earn his eighth save of the season. The right-hander has a 3.00 ERA on the season with 24 strikeouts in 18 innings.     Ryan McMahon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Giants on Sunday.

    Advice: McMahon took Jordan Hicks deep with a 377-foot shot that left the bat at 103.5 mph. He also added a 110 mph groundout and struck the ball well on Sunday. He now has seven home runs and 25 RBI on the season to go along with a .306/.387/.486 tripe slash.     Corey Seager went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in a loss to the Angels on Sunday.

    Advice: Seager’s home run was a 352-foot shot at 101.9 mph off the bat that actually had an xBA of just .250, but he’ll take it. He’s now up to six home runs on the season and his .247/.338/.371 triple slash is certain to rise as he gets going, but it’s been a disappointingly slow start for the 30-year-old.
