    • Throws one inning
Garcia (elbow) threw one scoreless inning at the Florida Complex League on Friday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Garcia returned to game action for the first time since May of 2023. He threw only 12 pitches and averaged 92.7 mph with his fastball. Garcia is slated to make his next rehab outing in early July. Rotowire.com 57 minutes ago

    • Set for bullpen session
Bloss (shoulder) will throw a bullpen session Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bloss has played catch a few times since landing on the injured list, but Sunday will mark his most intense activity. He's expected to return in early July, shortly after first eligible to be activated. Rotowire.com Today, 12:29 am

    • Seven straight scoreless appearnces
Pressly struck out one and allowed one hit in a scoreless eighth inning to earn a hold Saturday against the Mets.

Advice: Pressly struggled significantly to begin the season, but he's now turned in seven straight scoreless appearances. He's picked up five holds and a save while maintaining a 6:1 K:BB in that span. Even with that stretch, Pressly has a 4.40 ERA with a 1.43 WHIP overall on the campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 12:26 am
    • Building workload
Senzatela (elbow) threw between 30 and 35 pitches in a bullpen session Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Senzatela threw his fastball and changeup during the session with the goal of building up his stamina. He is expected to be cleared to throw breaking balls in the coming days, at which time he could also begin to face live hitters. Rotowire.com Today, 12:17 am
    • Struggles in rehab outing
Marquez (elbow) allowed four earned runs on four hits and a walk while striking out one while recording just two outs in a rehab outing with Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

Advice: Marquez made his first start with Albuquerque, though things didn't go according to plan. He threw only 33 pitches in the short outing and will now require another rehab appearance either July 3 or 4. If Marquez can turn around his performance in that start, he may return to the big-league rotation before the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Today, 12:14 am
    • Scoreless inning in win
Okert allowed one hit and one walk while striking out one over a scoreless inning in Saturday's 5-1 victory over the Mariners.

Advice: Okert started the season somewhat slow with a 3.97 ERA and six walks in 11.1 innings in his first 13 outings. He's since posted a 2.57 ERA with just four walks in 14 innings since May 11. While his 8.5 K/9 is down from 11.2 K/9 last season, he's still been productive with a low 2.6 BB/9 and 1.11 HR/9. He's become a steady setup man for the Twins, but isn't used in many high-leverage situations to earn holds or saves. Rotowire.com Today, 12:09 am
    • Career-high velocity
Alcala allowed a hit while striking out two over a scoreless inning Saturday against Seattle. He reached a career-high 101.2 mph on the radar gun, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Advice: Alcala has been an impact setup man for the Twins since returning from his inexplicable demotions to Triple-A in May and April. Alcala has a 1.05 ERA with a 19:7 K:BB over 17.2 innings since returning to the majors in late May. Rotowire.com Today, 12:00 am
    • Takes sixth loss Saturday
Civale (2-6) was tagged with the loss against Washington on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and four walks while striking out two batters over 5.2 innings.

Advice: Civale threw only 58 of 102 pitches for strikes and handed out four free passes, but he managed to mostly weave out of trouble and finished one out shy of a quality start. Nonetheless, he ended up in the loss column since the Rays' offense gave him only one run of support. Civale has gone 14 straight outings without a victory, and he hasn't pitched well overall with a 5.79 ERA over that span. The right-hander has been better of late, though, giving up two or fewer earned runs while hurling at least five frames in five of his past seven starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:02 pm
    • Registers another quality start
Irvin (6-6) earned the win over Tampa Bay on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and three walks while striking out five batters over six innings.

Advice: Irvin served up a solo homer to Brandon Lowe in the first inning, but that was the only run -- and only hit -- he allowed in the contest. The right-hander recorded his seventh quality start over his past eight outings, and he's posted an excellent 2.09 ERA and 0.93 WHIP during that span. Irvin didn't seem like he'd be a fantasy factor this year after posting a 4.61 ERA and 1.42 WHIP as a rookie last season, but he's instead provided strong ratios with a 3.03 ERA and 1.06 WHIP along with an 86:23 K:BB across 98 frames.
