    • Homers in return to lineup
Lowe went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Saturday in a loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Lowe returned to the starting lineup after logging just a pinch-hit appearance over Tampa Bay's previous five games due to a broken toe. The second baseman didn't seem to have any rust, as he belted a 405-foot solo shot in his first at-bat of the contest for what turned out to be the Rays' only run. Lowe has hit five homers over 19 games in June after going deep just once across his first 18 contests of the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:19 pm
    • Will Smith drives in three runs in Dodgers victory
Will Smith went 3-for-6 with a double and three RBI on Saturday night as the Dodgers outlasted the Giants in 11 innings.

Advice: Smith beat out an infield single in the fourth inning that drove in a run and knotted the score at five runs apiece. He then delivered the game’s biggest hit in the 11th inning, smacking a two-run double that gave the Dodgers a two-run lead and put them well on their way to victory. With his three-hit night, the 29-year-old backstop is now hitting .269/.339/.466 with 11 homers and 50 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:06 pm
    • Lowe homers in return to lineup Saturday
Brandon Lowe went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk against the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Lowe’s home run was his sixth of the season. It was certainly good to see him do something productive in his first game back in the Rays’ lineup since breaking his pinkie toe. With Lowe, you have to worry about when the next injury might come. He’s a decent power option in the middle infield as long as he’s playing. Lowe has a .218 average .756 OPS with 23 RBI on the season.

    • Ian Happ swats go-ahead two-run homer vs. Cubs
Ian Happ went 1-for-2 while hitting a go-ahead two-run homer to help the Cubs to a 5-3 win over the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: With the score tied at 3-3, Happ blistered a homer to right-center with Seiya Suzuki on board to give the Cubs the two-run lead and ultimately the victory. It’s the second big roundtripper for Happ in three days, as he hit a go-ahead homer in the 10th against San Francisco on Thursday. Over his 78 games, Happ is now hitting .231/.346/.422 with 11 homers, 44 RBI and seven stolen bases. A solid — if unspectacular — first half. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:47 pm

    • Aaron Judge reaches three times against Jays
Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a walk against the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: Judge knocked a base hit in the first inning, then drew an intentional walk in the third. With another single in the fifth, Judge drove in the first run of the game for New York. The 32-year-old slugger is slashing an MVP-esque .313/.434/.700 with 30 homers, 64 RBI, and 80 RBI across 365 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:04 pm
    • Brandon Lowe returns to Saturday’s lineup vs. Nats
Brandon Lowe (toe) has returned to the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Nationals.

Advice: Lowe is at designated hitter and batting second on Saturday after coming off the bench as a pinch-hitter during Friday’s showdown. The 29-year-old second baseman is making his first start since last weekend when he suffered a fractured right toe. He’ll continue playing as long as he can manage the main. • Back in lineup Saturday
Lowe (toe) is serving as the designated hitter and batting second for Saturday's game against the Nationals, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: After missing five games with a fractured right pinky toe, Lowe returned to action Friday as a pinch hitter for Amed Rosario in the bottom of the seventh inning. Lowe will wear a guard over his toe Saturday in his first start since June 22, Ryan Bass of Bally Sports Sun reports. For the month of June, Lowe is slashing .254/.324/.476 with four home runs and 14 RBI over 63 at-bats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:26 am
    • George Springer in Saturday’s lineup vs. Yankees
George Springer (hand) is in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Yankees.

Advice: This certainly qualifies as a welcome surprise for fantasy managers following Springer’s early exit from Friday’s game against the Yankees after being hit on his left hand by a 93.5 mph fastball. The positive news here is that precautionary X-rays came back negative for any fractures and the fact that he’s already back in the lineup means that the swelling isn’t bad enough that it’s preventing him from gripping a bat. It’s been a down year offensively for the 34-year-old veteran outfielder, but the Blue Jays need his bat in the lineup if they’re going to have any shot at turning things around before the trade deadline. • Sitting vs. lefty
Varsho is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: With the Yankees sending left-hander Nestor Cortes to the mound Saturday, Varsho will retreat to the bench. Varsho returned to the starting lineup Thursday after sitting the three games prior due to a back injury, and he's gone 0-for-8 with five strikeouts over his last two starts. Kevin Kiermaier will start in center field Saturday and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:38 am
